My name is Joanna Noel and have been blogging over at Dance and Dream 4 Ever (http://www.danceanddream4ever.blogspot.com ) for about a year now! I live in Anadarko Oklahoma! I work with my family in a family horse ministry that we have! I am there receptionist and sound bord teck person ( or at least try to be!) ! I love my family, friends,and meeting new people! Im big into Lime Green,Hot Pink, and Vintage! I love Photography, Starbucks, a good book and a nice fire!
I totally LOVE 2 things right now and I want to share them with you!
Hand written letters is one of them! I love the fun of seing if I got mail and the first peek into the mail box makes me hold my breath! Yes, call me old fashioned..but I love it! I love writing them as much as I love getting them! I am always looking for cute stationary and stuff like that! It really personalizes who you are! I think it almost puts more you in the letter!
It is sad how much we have lost letter writing in the busy of everyday life. We have choosen to fill that in with an email, a txt,or facebook. I dont have an issue with any of those…but the letter writting..well..I think it still needs to stay!
The other things I am very into right now is Journaling! I love how I can put my thoughts on paper and then read back on it later! I dont just like plain jane journals! I love the colors and shapes and styles! And none of my journals really match! I also love to stick pictures and randum other things in my journal here and there! Some I tap in..some I just throw in! I think it gives the journals more character! Personally I want my kids to be able to read back on my journals and learn more about me! Or maybe not event my kids…maybe just others! Ya..once again..call me weird…but really…what kind of legacy do I want to leave behind? Maybe my journals can tell my story better then me!

When I was a Freshman in college,
My first illustration class, the professor made us keep an art journal.
We write about how our work makes us feel, about our goals, about what we struggle with, about SO many things.
I still keep an art journal.
and that has been 5 years ago that I started it
