I agree, outside lights should not go up until after Thanksgiving. Although in the forest, we sometimes put them up before T-giving to avoid the snow, but we don’t turn them on. Better than traipsing through 2 feet of snow to hang them, right? 😉

i can’t decide about the christmas lights. My family and I always used to drive around the night after Thanksgiving looking at the holidays lights in the neighborhoods around us. I guess that’s why I love to see people putting them up then!
I’ve been reading your blog for the past week, I love it! And no it’s not just you on several things. The red cups make coffee better and the price less horrifying. It also bothers me when people only comment when I comment, even more so it bothers me when I comment several time and never get any loving back. The Kardashians are getting on my nerves, the wedding? Total publicity stunt.

Also? Unless they’ve changed the law, it’s illegal for a telemarketer or a collection agency to call between 8pm and 8am. I worked collections for a long time, but haven’t done it in about two years, so maybe they’ve changed it?

No, it’s not just you. It seriously bothers me when people don’t comment on my blog unless I do. I know I really shouldn’t care, but I can’t help it. Also, just yesterday I wanted to unfriend some relatives from FB. I don’t think I could delete my account because there are people on there I want to keep in touch with. Some of my relatives just don’t know that certain things shouldn’t be posted. And finally, going private does seem like a good idea.
Agree with a lot of this- i have been staying off twitter for the most part just to kind of keep myself from getting involved in shit.

i agree with so many of these! especially the College FB playoffs and the red holiday cups from Starbucks! This past weekend I had Starbucks the first time since the red cups came out and i got a regular one! i was so mad i got jipped! haha

Oh I agree on so many levels! Some days I want to leave Facebook and never come back. The BCS system completely sucks. I’m so tired of an SEC team winning because of a stupid computer. Christmas is after Thanksgiving for a reason! Pinterest is super addicting! That’s my 2 cents.. or 3 or 4… 🙂

I agree 500% on the self-promotion thing – it’s worse when you follow a blog and you follow that same person on Pinterest and they are forever pinning their own stuff… get ova yoself gurl!
and yep – I hate when people only comment when I do… I’m one of the worst and most sporadic commenters ever, so it’s super obvious to me. I follow many blogs of people who don’t follow me back, and I’m good with that. Don’t pretend to read if you’re not really interested.
There are only a few people I truly want as facebook friends!
Pinterest… I saw a pin once that poked fun at the “Oh, I’ll just click ‘show more pins’ one more time” – it’s hard to quit.
