Today around noon IM catching a flight to Nashville for…..
I get to meet some new friends and generally have fun for the next 4 days!
I hate flying though so think good thoughts around noon CST 🙂

The Oscar Nominations came out yesterday morning….
There were some very ridiculous snubs now I do think a lot of people got nominated that should but here is the Neely is mad about run down:
No Ryan Gossling for Blue Valentine
No Blue Valentine for Best Picture
No The Town for Best Picture
No Ben Affleck for writing
No Mila Kunis for Black Swan
No Andrew Garfield for The Social Network
No Justin Timberlake for The Social Network(Ok I didnt really think he’d get one)
No WAITING FOR SUPERMAN for Best Documentary -Are you effing kidding?
I am just dumbfounded most of these were considered LOCKS
So what went wrong???
The Cohn Brotehrs always get nods for stuff so a lot of people got screwed because of that. I honestly think no matter what they did they’d get nominated.
Ugh anyways

I LOVE Nashville, it’s one of my favorite cities (one of my bff’s lives there). The Opryland Hotel is unbelievable! If you get a chance stop by the Pancake Pantry (best pancakes ever!) And if you go out at night check out The Stage, Wild Horse Saloon (dinner and line dancing!) And get some mini burgers at Paradise Point! Can’t wait to hear about your trip!

I always think the Cohn brothers movies are weird, maybe I am just not smart enough to get thier humor….
Things that make me mad: The Town was amazing, it should have had more noms. Also, TEN nominations for best picture is a little excessive.
And I have to be honest, I think Social Network would have been better without JT, as much as I love him and his curls…
