hi i’m aubrey. i blog over at dreaming about someday, and i’ve been hanging out here as the eyeliner sponsor. speaking of eyeliner, i’m a self proclaimed brand snob. the older i get, the pickier i get about brands. i’m a brand snob about makeup, nail polish, hair products, water, and some food to name a few. i really wish i wasn’t because it gets awfully expensive. one product i’m totally a brand snob about is dry shampoo, but luckily it’s a grocery store brand. for several years i used a more expensive brand until i got converted to suave dry shampoo.
several people told me about it, and i kept reading about it in all the magazines. finally i gave in and tried it. i haven’t looked back since. no more expensive brands for me. i love suave! it’s the best brand, smells good, and actually works. don’t believe me…ask me how many times a week i wash my hair. i’ve heard every excuse for daily washing. i work out 5-6 times a week, and this stuff basically saves my life.
i love it so much i want everyone else to try it out too. i’m giving away a bottle of dry shampoo, and since you can buy this stuff at the grocery store i’m adding a $15 target gift card. how often do you wash your hair? do you use dry shampoo? let me know if you try this and love it (you will i promise).

I don’t use dry shampoo…I’ve always thought there’s no way it would work with my hair because after one day of not washing it, it gets super greasy. I wash and condition mine every day and get told by my hair stylist that my hair is in great condition despite all the bleaching I do to it. Since I’ve started working out again I don’t feel like washing my hair twice a day so I figure it’s time to try the dry shampoo. It would be awesome to win this, but even if I don’t I will still get some on my own!

I have never tried dry shampoo but it seems like everyone is talking about it lately. I generally pick one shampoo and use it forever– I’ve been using the Herbal Essence Curl Shampoo for the longest time but for some reason *I* have noticed it smells different lately so I want to change. My mother has this Neutrogena Shampoo that she uses once a week (it’s in a small bottle) and she says that it takes all of the product residue off your hair so on my next trip to the store I think I will try some of that. Any suggestions on good shampoos, other than the dry shampoo that I’m hoping to win here? HAPPY FRIDAY!
I have never tried dry shampoo but I have a sample of the suave stuff here that I need to try. I’m just not sure if my hair will take to it.

I’ve tried every type of dry shampoo under the sun but my absolute favourite will always be Batiste. Its available in drug stores and I recently saw it in Urban Outfitters. When friends visit from home (Ireland) and ask what I want out I always get them to bring be a few bottles of it because its a quarter of the price there and they have all different varieties available-for red hair like mine, for brunettes and for blondes and a lot of different scents to choose from.
When I first started using it my sister was super skeptical and called it “hair degreaser” but now she is a convert to.
I love Cover Girl eyeliner.
I guess I am a old schooler but I grew up using Aqua Net Hairspray and I still swear it is the only hairspray that works in this Oklahoma wind.. but I honestly rarely have tried any other..
I love the Suave dry shampoo!! Especially since it allows me to sleep in a little during the work week 🙂

I’m IN LOVE with Vaseline Spray & Go Aloe Fresh moisturizer. I use it every day and am obsessed! I highly recommend it to anyone who usually hates the feel of lotion on their body…

So funny that you’re highlighting the Suave dry shampoo! I *swear* by that too! I usually buy the two-pack from Target because it’s a better deal. My other favorite brand is Cover Girl (mascara) or Neutrogena (foundation, cover-up, mineral make-up).
