SO guys it’s Monday and we all get off to slow starts. Not to mention those of us that do not live in Hawaii or Arizona got a major ass kicking by losing an hour of sleep this weekend.
So Let’s Chat!
Funnily about that I will actually be in Hawaii a week before the time changes back for my honeymoon…talk about jetlag!
But anyways. Today I am functioning on little sleep from last night(thank you Lindsay Lohan reality show) and copious amounts of lattes(Thank you Keurig Rivo).
But alas back to chatting. How was everyones weekend? Mine was meh. Had a horrible pain in my stomach for 3 days. Thank god it was on the wrong side to be anything major. Also weaning myself off migraine meds so I’ve had a ton of headaches lately. NOT FUN!
Other than that we got a lot done here. Major grocery haul, 3 loads of laundry, cleaning etc. Went to a friends little girls first birthday party! So fun! Although everyone spoke Italian aside from A and I…so theres that. Mind you I think Italian might be the most beautiful language to listen to. Even if you have no idea what anyone is saying.
I was looking for a purse to wear over the weekend and discovered a Marc by Marc Jacobs beauty that I have had for 4 years and haven’t worn in over a year. That lady made her way out of my closet for sure.
I have the bag above in a deep purple color but the mint is pretty fabulous. Dont you love when you find treasures in your closet? It’s the best. Also makes me feel like I need to clean out my closet.
We are planning a short easy getaway for July 4th to Austin for 3 days. Pretty excited to stay on the lake and relax with my love. Funnily enough I will be back there 3 weeks later for my bachelorette party! Oh well I love Austin!
Im in the hunt for cute swimsuits, coverups, and sundresses for the honeymoon since now is the perfect time to be buying them. I am far too picky and I loathe swimsuit shopping so that should be fun. Im not alone there right?

The weekend was mellow, which was nice. But I always think I can get by without the hour lost. Nope still dragging today.
I re-potted all my succulents, did laundry, walked the dogs and caught up on The Walking Dead. How was LiLo’s new show? I’m so tempted to DVR it…
Oh, I’m glad the stomach pain wasn’t anything serious. Our weekend was fairly low-key, but we did have a few obligations.
Mint green is one of those colors I wish that I wore all of the time, but never really get to these days because of the nasty weather. Spring and pastels, come to me!
Just started my second half of student teaching… feeling a little overwhelmed but can’t believe I graduate so soon!
You are the third blog I’ve ready today that talked about headaches/migraines, I was hit with one yesterday!! So awful. Glad your stomach pain went away. I am also engaged, getting married in Nov, and I have to say I feel like I’ve had more health ailments since we got engaged haha! I don’t know if it’s the stress or what but I’m glad it’s not just me 😛
My weekend was so busy, I was trying to get back in the groove of things from being away in the Smoky Mountains for a week, yesterday I took a me day, slept in, went to the park and ate ice cream! 🙂

My weekend was meh as well. It started busy, but good. Took my son to jui-jitsu, went out to lunch, picked up a few things at the mall I’ve been needing and dropped my teen off for a slumber party. The bad came when she called at 5am to come pick her up because she wasn’t feeling well. Then I was exhausted and had a headache all of Sunday. My Monday wasn’t anything to brag about either. I’m hoping my week gets better. 😛

I was totally eyeing some mint purses at the mall last night. Ended up picking up a neutral clutch to take to concerts, weddings, and other things that I have coming up, but that mint is so cute! I hope your stomach stays better!
