Andrew and I love to travel. Early in our relationship it became clear that traveling to new places was something we enjoyed doing together. One place we have not been yet together is Florida and boy do I want to go on a Florida Adventure!
We have talked about going on a quick vacation this fall and after checking out the Gulf County Adventure Guide I am itching to go. This is a great place to visit when the weather is cooling off in Texas. We don’t live very close to the gulf here and escaping to the gulf in Florida just seems like a great idea.
A few of the things we have talked about doing are Kayaking, paddle-boarding, snorkeling, and fishing. Andrew is a huge fan of anything involving the water and has always loved fishing so these activities are right up our alley. We’ve been so busy the past few months with weddings, showers, family time and visitors in from out of town that an adventure sounds like the perfect escape!
I have only been kayaking once and I would love to do it again. Another thing we would love to try is paddle boarding. Granted I am about the least coordinated person out there so it should be interesting to watch.
Gulf County is an ideal family destination because you can really find anything to do there. You can take kiddos to hunt for turtles in the sand or to swim with dolphins and you can visit an assortment of amazing restaurants and venues. It really is the ultimate family vacation destination.
