My Green Monster Smoothie Recipe

I started drinking Green Monster smoothies 3 years ago every single day. They have completely transformed my healthy habits and since a lot of people have asked for the recipe recently on both twitter and email I figured I would share this simple recipe with you today.

The recipe is very simple and a lot of the items are probably things you regularly keep on hand.

First and foremost you need a blender, vitamix or something like it.

1. Leafy Spinach: 2-3 handfuls

2. 1 Banana

3. 1 packet of Truvia Sweetener

4. 2-3 Large Strawberries(Fresh or Frozen)

5. 10-15 blueberries(Fresh or Frozen)

6. 1/2 cup of whichever Milk you prefer. I use skim.

7. Ice: This will vary if you used frozen berries

8. Add greek yogurt for extra protein

Mix and add a fun straw and put in a fun glass and there you have it 2 servings of veggies and 3 servings of fruit that completely tastes like a Strawberry Banana Smoothie!!! You dont taste spinach AT ALL!

Green Monsters are such a fantastic way to start your day and even have for a snack later in the day!
