So recently after my foot healed I headed back to Bar Method. It is honestly my favorite workout and I am so glad to be back going to class 3-4 times a week.
I was really down and kind of depressed when I couldn’t work out because of my foot. I am one of those people that needs to work out daily. Not for any other reason than it makes me happy and feel good. I know a lot of people are like this. I mean sure the toning and calorie burning are great bonus’ but to me its all about how I feel post work out.
For instance this past Monday it was so gross out. It was raining and chilly and I really just wanted to work on my couch with coffee all day. I had a scheduled noon class and I went back and forth on if I should go. I remembered my favorite saying. You never regret a workout.
With that thought in mind I got dressed and drove to bar method. Still not in the mood for class and lucky for me the class was extra hard that day which made me so glad I went. I love the instructor that taught that day. She pushed us so hard and I love when Im corrected. I know that sounds weird but I know Im getting more out of class when I am corrected in my movements and positions.
After class I was a hot sweaty mess and was so happy I went. It was still pretty rainy and gross when I left and continued to rain that night but I just kept remembering that I don’t regret working out. I would however have regretted not working out.
I am going back to body pump as well and that’s another hard, burn workout. My favorite workouts are for sure group classes because I feel I get more of a workout.
If you ever wake up planning to work out and start to have that feeling that you just don’t feel like it today. Remember the above saying, remember you never regret a workout.
Do you ever go through that “I don’t want to deal with it today” thinking?

Glad you’re feeling better and back to working out! Thanks for the inspiration. Pinning your pretty quote!
Yes, especially when I would rather sit and worry about random things. But the post work out feeling is so calming. I definitely never regret it whenever I’m done.
Glad your foot is feeling better! Yes, I don’t think I have ever regretted a workout. I have been back in the gym this summer. Although I clearly can’t push super hard, it is making me feel great!
I want to take a barre class so bad! I feel like it would take me back to my ballet days. 🙂 Working out does make you feel great!
I always have a really hard time getting up early for an early morning workout like I did this morning, but I always feel so energized and like I can take on the woke after I do it.
I lifted this morning and I’m feeling so strong today!
Great quote! I’ve never consistently done a group workout, but I need to give it a try
Working out, especially when you lack the motivation, usually works out (heh!) to your advantage!
Love this outlook! 🙂
Hope your foot is better! And you are so right, I’ve never regretted a workout! But I have regretted not working out.
You are completely right!
story of my life from work to workouts… but somehow a workout always makes my day better!
Post work out feeling is the best…however motivating yourself to do so is hard. Congrats on your foot feeling better!
Not gonna lie… I’m pretty nervous for barre on Sat! I need to know what to wear lol
i need to get back into this. you are oh, so right.
i really really need to make this a priority.
Wow, now that I think about it, your saying rings true! There wasn’t one time where I regretted getting my sweat on. This morning, I sprung out of bed and did a little Tabata. And I feel great! And happy. Which is the best part of a workout. You’re right on the money there.
What is bar method? Or is that a place?
I have always wanted to try body pump.. I’ll have to see where they have one close by Rowlett. Love that quote! I may have to pin it.
Wow! After all I got a web site from where I be capable of really take useful data regarding my study and knowledge.
