OK I have to share my new favorite lip product with you guys! It’s THAT good. I have long been a fan of Burt’s Bees products in general. I love their lip balm, lipstick, you name it I love it. Recently I tried their new lip oils. Imagine the most moisturizing gloss type lip product ever. The thing is it’s more like an oil. They are Available at Target which is awesome because if you’re like me you go to Target 3 times a week anyways.
I picked up three colors to try. I wanted ones that could be worn all year round and just give my lips a little something something extra. The three I decided on were Misted Plum, Showering Sunset, and Whispering Orchid.
Then came the test. Here’s the deal. I am extremely picky about everyday lip products. I prefer more glossy finishes to matte finishes and I like something that also comes off easily if I no longer want to be wearing a product. I do not like lip products that feel sticky, linger for days, or smear easily. This product hits the mark on everything I want. Plus it makes your lips feel extremely hydrated and DOES NOT dry them out. These are all reasons why this is my new favorite lip product! They really won me over!
A bit about the ones I tried:
Showering Sunset is VERY light which I like it’s the perfect shade for everyday and gives your lips a sheen without overpowering with too much color.
Whispering Orchid is a little bit darker than Showering Sunset but not too much. What I liked about this one was that I felt like it had a more noticeable color to it.
Misted Plum was the darkest of the ones I tried and I now refer to it as my “date night” lip color. It’s dark enough to look like you really have something going on but not so dark that you feel like it may smear all over or get on your teeth and be noticeable. AKA my two biggest fears when wearing a dark lip.
My husband is not a fan of super dark lip colors-as most guys aren’t. He loved all three of these on me. He actually said “Oh I really like that!” That’s pretty much a rave from him!
The other three shades it comes in are: Crimson Breeze, Rustling Rose, and Caramel Cloud.
A note when purchasing. They were NOT in the Burt’s Bees makeup section at my Target. They were on an end cap so make sure to check end caps of makeup aisles when looking for them. Since they are a new product.

I’m definitely going to have to try these! I’m much more of a lip gloss girl than a lip stick girl, for sure! I feel like there are some girls who can pull off a bold color, but I’m not one of them and I would much rather have a little color with some shine.
We always have about five hurts bees chapsticks floating around our house at any given time. I like how these new lip products are a little glossy. I’ve tried their lipsticks before but they were a bit too matte for my liking.
I’m a huge Burt’s Bees fan, too. I had no idea they came out with lip oils though. I love the ones by Milani so i’ll definitely have to try these out next time i’m at Target.
My lips get SO CHAPPED so this product looks like an absolute lifesaver! I currently use YSL Oil in Stick for both moisture and lip color but these are way more affordable!

I love Burt’s Bees products however have not seen these you are recommending. I must look for those to try soon they look so cool and the colors are really nice.
I might have to give those a try! I love Burt’s Bees products and I love lip products. I cannot stand when my lips feel sticky, so this sounds like it would work great.
I’ve only recently heard of Burt’s Bees makeup products, really want to try them out since I use their chapstick religiously!

Burts Bees used to be one of my favorite products. Then I got addicted to tinted lip balm from Mary Kay… can’t go back!

I love how natural they look (and love Burt’s Bees too!). My husband also hates my super dark lip colors so could see him approving of these too 🙂

I love Burtbees! The brand is so good, I got a lipstick last year and I love the formula!
I use the Burts bees lip balm’s and I love them. They keep my lips so soft and moist. I’m gonna have to try these lipgloss sticks.
