Operation Cohabitation: One Month In

So we have been living in sin for a month now and let me tell you I love it!

opco

I thought I would give it to you straight!

Sharing a closet is great especially when your significant other is generous and gives you most of the space.

Sharing chores is a lifesaver: I clean and do laundry, he cooks, grocery shops and takes out the trash.

I can be bossy and nit-picky and sometimes he leaves dishes around…we all have our faults right?

He is amazing at fixing anything ….including any freakout or meltdown I have

I love snuggling on our new couch its our favorite thing to do

Having our own dressers was the best idea…we have a lot of clothes

Having our own offices is good too…even though mine is better 😉

Having someone to go across the street and pick up Mi Cocina for dinner when neither of you want to cook is amazing

Having Mi Cocina across the street is amazing

Its nice to have our own sinks…little tiny shave hairs are gross…gah

Why do men leave dishes everywhere?

Its nice when they unload the dishwasher without you asking

Its nice when they bring home flowers for no reason

Its nice when they leave sweet notes

Im not a fan when he leaves town for a week, and he gets very sweet and affectionate when he comes back…its nice to know he missed me too

I realized I am way too much like my mom with cleaning

What did you find out when you moved in with your significant other?

Operation Cohabitation its been a full month plus 2 days and I am loving every single second!

I liked being single but I loved when we moved in together. I do wish he would clean up his dishes too although I do not like to vacuum, he is my hero there.

Hahaha. I love this! After living together for about 3 and a half years (and almost two years into marriage) I still can’t understand why he leaves dishes EVERYWHERE! He can’t understand why I hate folding laundry so much. 😉

Sounds like you guys are getting it down! Funny enough, Greg is the one that gets onto me for leaving stuff around the house (i.e. shoes). haha!

Snuggling on the couch was totally my favorite thing first, too!! If we lived across the street from Mi Cocina, it would be trouble! It’s bad enough living down the street!

I learned he really didn’t know how to cook. He’d always tell me that he would make this, or that, then when we moved in, nothing was ever used until I used it. Oh well, guess it just means its my kitchen 🙂

This is such a happy post! I hope one day when I move in with my future significant other (whoever that may be!), I have just as many nice things to say about it 🙂

    Best,

I love living with my fiance. There are days when certain things get on my nerves, but the positives heavily outweigh the negatives. So he has a habit of leaving garbage on the table right next to the trash can sometimes and forgets to pick up the bath mat off the floor when he’s done? He stops by the store when I need something for what I’m making for dinner and he keeps the bed warm on cold nights. It’s all about balance 🙂

You really do learn a TON about someone when you move in with them. And you have to pick your battles, that’s for sure. My man used to leave his TOENAIL clippings in the toilet. *dry heave* Broke him of that habit pretty quickly though, hahah! I’m glad you guys are loving things! 😀

I found out my husband can take up the whole closet with all of his clothes, so I get stuck with the dresser. The rest aren’t blog sharing worthy, lol
