September Goals…Lets do this Sh*T

A few days ago Miss Taylor wrote about her September goals and while I see tons of people do this I now felt that I should too…so even though we are several days into September…..

1. Read for 30-45 minutes before bed 4 nights a week(does Tumblr count? NO …crap) No really I’ve downloaded a few new books to the iPad and I am excited to read more. Currently reading Gone Girl….crazy shiz. 

2. Take 3 workout classes a week(pure barre, body pump, TRX) I use the other days for cardio…but I need to get back into classes!(note: over the weekend I tried a new bar studio! LOVED IT! Will be blogging about it soon! Can’t wait to go back(tonight) 🙂 

3. Get my closet ready for Fall….move my summer clothes to the back, clean out what I dont need/wear/fit into anymore and donate, make a list of things I am missing. (So far I know I need a couple of Fall-ish tops and a great blazer) Any blazer suggestions?

4. Finish seasons 2 and 3 of Damages (halfway done with season 2) next on my list after Damages is Boardwalk Empire. 

5. Lose these last 4 lbs! I’ve been trying to lose these 4 lbs for like a year…seriously. As soon as I get close I gain 3 back. This is the month I lose them! During the week I do really well with eating and then the weekend happens…Tell me I am not alone here?

6. Try something new(signed up for a Book Club!!! This will also help with number 1) 

Let’s see if I can make this happen!

  2. Great list of goals! Our main goal is to finish digging the new footers for our basement (yep, we are finishing our basement and digging it deeper so the height will be 8 feet instead of the 6 feet it currently is). My personal goal is to walk or ride my bike every day for 20 min or more 🙂 Happy Tuesday!

  3. Great goals! I definitely need to read more, my kindle is feeling neglected. Do you find that fitness classes help keep you motivated? 🙂

  9. Great list of goals! I list mine on my blog on Mondays and then give a run down on how I did the previous week. Thinking of making it a link up, if I could figure out how. LOL! Stacie xo

  15. Those are great, especially reading more, I should try that out before bed. My one and only goal this month is to get baby-ready for our little girl that’s coming on October 10th!! New follower, I found you through Amanda (This IS My Real Hair) and I can’t wait to keep reading…hopefully you can get a chance to look at my blog. 🙂

  19. I love that you signed up for a book club. I’ve been dying to! I need to get back into a habit of reading regularly before bed…my husband and I have been too addicted to catching up on Breaking Bad episodes! I have about 3 pounds to lose to put me back where I was last month. Going to Napa really set me back and I just can’t get on track!! Good luck finding a good blazer, I hope you post about it!

  22. Have you ever been to Genesis Women’s Shelter?! Great place to donate when cleansing your closet and they have cute clothes / purses / home decor 🙂
