It Starts With Coffee

This will be a picture less post because my camera is acting funny and I cant upload pics right now.

So Christmas eve I wake up to an email from my best friend who is vacationing in Mexico saying “is it going to snow in Dallas???” My first reaction was It was 75 yesterday so I doubt it. So I turned on the TV and went to the weather channel and sure enough WINTER WEATHER WARNING. About 2 hours later it started to snow and snowed till about 10 PM that night. First White Christmas in Dallas since the 20’s. Pretty cool. I hope when I have kids it happens at least once. My mom and I went and saw Up in the Air which was a great movie and I texted with Chad a lot(he was snowed in, in Oklahoma) I went to bed pretty early and it was wonderful.

Yesterday I got up and went to my dad and stepmoms house in Frisco. It took me about an hour to get there because of the roads. I had a scary moment of sliding across 3 lanes of the tollway going 35 mph. Thankfully no one else was near me and I didnt hit anything. Opened presents and had breakfast with Dad, Caryn and Caryns parents. I got a gift card to Northpark Mall(my fav), an Audrey Hepburn Calendar, a cool plug in candle thing, gift card to starbucks, some lip gloss and some ornaments for MY tree(well Chad and my tree).

Then I came back to my moms and we opened gifts. I got gift cards galore(More Northpark, more starbucks, pinkberry, a giftcard to get my car detailed at the fancy car wash place, and Anthropologie, oh and one for a pedicure) I also got 2 DVDS(inglorious basterds and my sisters keeper) a Fashion book that Ive wanted for a long time and a new desk calendar. Oh and some perfume that Im exchanging because I already have that kind. I got pretty spoiled I feel very lucky. I cant wait to go shop with my gift cards!!!

That afternoon mom her friend Sarah and myself went to see Its Complicated. What a great movie. It was so funny and the perfect way to relax on Christmas afternoon. We came home and had Christmas dinner.

Chad ended up not coming home till Saturday which was kind of sucky for lack of a better word. But we got to spend Saturday afternoon, night and all day Sunday together so I cant complain too much 🙂

Yesterday we went to Northpark to look for sale stuff and I got hands down the most perfect new years dress.

Chad got a Jacket and we had some lunch at Niemans and some Orange Cup. Then we went to Best Buy and Chad bought a Wii Fit! Im sooooo excited to play with it. Then we watched the Cowboys game and had dinner at Chad’s parents house. Pretty eventful day. I was exhausted and fell right to sleep.
