My name is Brook and I’m a Minnesota transplant living in sunny South Florida. I don’t care if my feet ever touch snow again and I’m sure I’ve completely lost my ability to drive on ice. However, as a born-redhead (just not quite my current color), I fear leaving the house without plenty of SPF and I wouldn’t dream of a trip to the beach without a giant hat and umbrella. My Chihuahua mix George Bailey runs the house but I let him because he rarely talks back. Ten months out of the year I am an eighth-grade language arts teacher but please don’t hold that against me and search for grammatical errors (because I’m sure there are plenty!). I blog about whatever is going on around me and things I love – clothes, shopping, makeup, unexpected blessings, challenges, crafts, and I love a link up party where I get to make new connections and friends.
