A Little About Sweet Tea Paperie
Sweet Tea Paperie is all about items that represent southern hospitality. It actually doesn’t matter if you’re from the South or not, we can all appreciate the gentle ways and friendliness of those people who always make us feel welcome. Whether it’s a personalized gift, a special invitation for a party, or a handwritten note on beautiful stationery, I offer items in my store that help folks create the same warmth, charm and grace in their homes and lives that I grew up with in North Carolina.  I think it’s the small personal touches – the monogrammed guest towels or the to do list on a lovely note pad – that remind you and the people in your life that they are special.
What Makes Sweet Tea Paperie Special
People appreciate the personal touches of our store. Our customers are also our friends.  I personally respond to all inquiries and love doing special things like tucking a free treat or a handwritten note in a package to a customer before shipping it.  We want your order to be absolutely perfect and if it isn’t for any reason we go above and beyond to fix it.  I also love keeping in touch with our customers through our blog, our Facebook community, and Twitter.  They are as much a part of Sweet Tea Paperie as I am and I really enjoy getting to learn about what’s going on in their world.
People also love the great patterns and colors our products come in.  Style is about so much more than what you wear.  I think it’s invigorating to surround yourself with beautiful things that represent your sense of style – it improves your energy level, motivates you, and can inspire you to do and dream big things.  Our products let people incorporate their style into their daily work and personal lives in fun and practical ways.
A Little About Amanda
She is a displaced southern girl living in Boston, MA with her shiny new husband (we were married October 2011), her sweet beagle Lanie, and a cat named Patience who is anything but.  She is a native of North Carolina, but also have lived in Texas and Florida.  She started my career in education (first as a teacher, then as a counselor), but have always had a penchant for design. Owning a boutique was a dream of mine because I love paper, stationery, and home decor so much myself.  When I knew I would be leaving my former job to relocate to Boston (my husband was starting grad school there), it was the perfect opportunity to take the plunge.  It’s been a great adventure and even more fun than I thought. I love our customers and helping connect them with great personalized items that add an everyday elegance to their lives.
What She’s Loving Right Now
Choosing a favorite item in the store is like choosing a favorite child – I love them all.  Right now I’m loving anything that reminds me of the BEACH.  The winter hasn’t been too bad in Boston this year, but I would still really love to have my toes in the sand somewhere sunny and warm right now. A girl can dream, right?

  1. Those are adorable. I’ve always liked stationary as well and for years I’ve kept a book of all my favorite invites, baby announcements, Christmas cards, etc. Completely silly! I can’t wait to check out their site.
