When I changed my blog name 16 months ago I was not in a great place.
Chad and I had just broken up for what would then be a rollercoaster of ups and downs. I was not feeling like myself….
Question: Were you a reader when my blog had a different name? Do you remember what it was called?

A lot has changed in my life since then. Chad and I have gotten back together, broken up and gotten back together and almost moved in together and broken up. Yep probably more times than that.
I have finished grad school, gotten a job and furthered myself in many ways.
I have made new friends, said goodbye to some, and met a lot of amazing people.
I have grown my blog in ways I never could have possibly imagined and learned so many things in the process.
Something that has NOT changed however is what this blog means.
A Complete Waste of Makeup is for every girl everyday. We all have days when the day just doesn’t go our way, when work, family, life just suck up and down and we wonder WHY DID WE BOTHER TODAY??
One of my sweet blog friends found this and sent it to me and I have it on my dresser…I look at it everyday and I just love it.
I know this post is rambling so I will try to get to my point.
No matter what happens in my life, no matter what my relationship status is, work situation, life situation…..
Women will ALWAYS have days that are A Complete Waste of Makeup.
This blog is about that and for that.
But…
I really love makeup.

This year has been a complete waste of makeup for me!! Sometimes sh*t just happens! I spose all we can do is think, well at least I looked good and move on!!
i don’t wear make up unless i’m going out…and i buy the cheap stuff…so i’m not really wasting any

but yes….the rest of the year it gonna rock for u…so you might have to change ur blog title again!
So true! Somedays are a complete waste of make up but we still slap it on and try to make the best of it!
We all have those days and love that you share them with us! Perhpas we should do a weekly or bi-weekly vent about a complete waste of make up day, its cathartic!
I think we all have different times that life is like that. I think most days lately have been a complete was of makeup (even though I love me some makeup)!
I honestly don’t remember the last time I put on makeup…
