This and That

Ok so later today or tomorrow I will be putting up a weekend recap as well as catching up on the 30 DBC

I have quit caffeine for a while. Here is the short version of why. On Wednesday I started having HORRIBLE pains in my stomach. Sharp, horrible pains. It was every time I ate anything. A piece of candy, a piece of toast whatever. I have decided(since Im clearly a Dr) that losing as much weight as I have and changing the way I eat has made my body not accepting of the amount of caffeine I had been drinking. Hopefully seeing my Dr this week to get for sure answers. But kicking the habit completely is tough. From a Venti to nothing is just painful. I have had the shakes, migraines and flu like symptoms which is what THIS ARTICLE said would happen. Chad has been so sweet taking care of me and making me about 30 cups of chamomile tea a day. BEST.BOYFRIEND.EVER!

Cowboys lost again…its depressing me a lot

I finish finals for my first semester of grad school in exactly 1 month!

Kendra is back on yay! Love her she cracks me up!

Went shopping this weekend and scored 2 cute sweaters at Anthropologie for half price 🙂

My lululemon addiction was felt when I stopped by the store to ahem loooook at some stuff on Saturday…I didnt just look.

I found not super fattening banana nut bread at whole foods…score.

Congrats to Mama Katie over @ Life in the Fulmer Lane on her beautiful brand new baby boy Caleb who was born this weekend. Congrats girl he’s a cutie!!!

And lastly the awesome Jenn over @ Munchkinland Designs tweaked some things on my blog. So many of you had been asking me about my workout regimen and eating habits and I wanted to make it easier to find so she added buttons at the top for all the posts Ive written about both! Now you may peruse easier 🙂 Thanks Jenn!!!

Have a great day everyone 🙂

I really need to give up sodas even though I drink Diet Coke. The problem though is that I need caffeine and I am not really a coffee drinker. I am thinking I just need to suck it up and do it though!

UGH! Caffeine “detox” is the absolute worst. I had to give it up both times I was pregnant and it was straight up awful. I found that drinking a ton of extra water helped my headaches go away. Luckily it never lasted long.

This being said…Trace is here and I’m back to coffee! haha I can’t do it full time, but I do monitor how much caffeine I have.

Sorry the Cowboys suck this year! Steeler Nation will welcome you if you’d like to cross over to the sunny side of the street! 😉

  5. It might be better to just start by cutting back your caffiene than to just quit cold turkey. Expecially if you have those kinds of withdrawls. I don’t think I would do that to myself unless I absolutely had to. I am not a coffee or soda drinker at all. But I do love ice tea. I try to get decaf at least half of the time. My sister had to quit caffiene because it gave her heart problems. Luckily it was nothing serious but they were able to tell her it was caused by caffiene.

Yikes! I hope you are feeling better soon enough! Did you use WebMD to self-diagnose? I use that site all of the time and it’s addicting:)
