This weekend I ….

 

Had one of the best weekends ever!

 

First Thursday night I went to a LocalLevo Dallas event which was the first one here! I made some great new friends and had the best time walking the Katy Trail and drinking wine with some fabulous and inspirational women!

I had an article published in the SUNDAY EDITION of the 13th most popular Newspaper in the country…yes I looked it up…but it has my byline and the 18 year old Journalism Major in me squealed a little. A lot…

Spent Saturday afternoon drinking beers and watching Football…the usual….

Rocked a faux fur vest for the first time

Ran into Kiley at Victor Tango’s Saturday night, enjoyed my favorite Mac and Cheese and Passionfruit Gimlet

Saw my favorite Christmas Decorations…the bears…I made a video…and took many pictures

 

Had lunch with the bestie and the monkey girl on Sunday which was a huge treat…yay for husbands who travel so I get extra best friend time

 

Started the Kennedy’s mini series which is not great but I feel compelled to finish because Katie Holmes is a terrible actress

 

Watched the Cowboys/Eagles game on Sunday Night Football! GO COWBOYS! Always ….FOR LIFE!

 

P to the S…This weekend I also realized how much I hate the way the BCS decides bowl games…top 10 teams should go to the best bowl games…PERIOD

    That is awesome about the newspaper. And while this pains me to say it, but I am happy the Cowboys won! Ha ha I am a Houston Texans girl myself but it is always good for the Texas teams to win.

    I could not agree more about how the BCS does bowl games! They need to be the top 10 teams. I don’t understand why they don’t do it like that.

    Girl.. Get this… I was headed to Banana to get their faux fur vest b/c I have been DYING to have it and I finally just gave in. I pulled out of the driveway…and backed into a car. EFF.ME. So yeah, no fur vest for me. I saw yours on instagram that night and sighed. Lame. But it looks so cute on you!!!!!
