Updated Skin Care Routine

A few months ago I did a post on my skincare routine. Soon after that, after months of my skin behaving properly my skin revolted and I started trying to figure out which parts of my routine to change. After lots of research and an appointment with my Dermatologist I came up with a skincare routine that has completely transformed my skin. Note that my skin is very sensitive and I am very fair skinned. Here is my updated skin care routine!

Updated-Skin-Care-Routine

As soon as I wake up I wash my face with Neurtogena Foaming Face Wash. I have been using this for years and it’s great on sensitive skin because it’s very gentle. I pat dry and then I use Origins Renewal Serum all over my face. A little of this goes a long way! Once that has dried, I moisturize with CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. I then use the First Aid Beauty Detox Eye Roller under my eyes. It really wakes my face up first thing in the morning. After I brush my teeth I then put on my tried and true lip product, the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask. I have raved about this in several posts and it is a game changer!

If I wash my face during the day I use the Neutrogena Face Wash and then the CeraVe Moisturizer.

At night I go through some of the same routine. I wash my face with the Neutrogena Face Wash. Then I put my night serum on which is Fresh Rose Hydrating serum. Then I put CeraVe Moisturizer on. I then put Fresh Rose Eye Cream under my eyes. After I brush my teeth I put the Bite Agave Lip Mask on to keep my lips hydrated while I sleep.

There you have it, my updated skin care routine. My skin has become much softer, and less damaged the last few weeks of using these products!

Do you have a go to skin care product?

I have never used any of these products before. I have recently had a little bit of a hick up in my skin and I always look for new products to use. I also will be going to the dermatologist to see what can be done. I really love Philosophy’s Purity Made Simple facial cleanser. It’s makes me skin really smooth and clean. Thanks for sharing! I will have to look into these products.

I love seeing people’s skincare routines! Lately, I’ve been loving the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer for nighttime use. Even though I have oily/combo skin, it helps keep my skin calm and hydrated but not greasy feeling at all. Origins is such an amazing brand too! My daytime moisturizer is their GinZing Moisturizer. It’s incredible and makes my skin feel like silk (and it smells like oranges)!

In general, Cerave products have been good for my skin and I used it during my accutane treatment. Now, I’m using Laneige because I needed more skin moisture to heal my dry skin, and treat my little acne better. Thanks for ssharing! P.s. don’t stop sharing your postts on FB because that’s how I know you have new posts and first discovered you.

I love CeraVe! I battled with acne for years. Tried everything from meds to proactive to every over the counter item I could try. Nothing helped. Then someone recommended I just wash with baking soda (gentle exfoliate without any chemicals) and moisturize with CeraVe…and IT WORKED! I’ve been singing baking soda’s praises ever since, lol.
