This weekend was fun but busy…
Friday night Chad and I went to Mi Cocina and got hot cocoa and looked at Christmas lights in Highland Park and Preston Hollow.
But before that we each opened one Christmas gift…no idea why. Chad got me glittens from Jcrew and I got Chad a docking station for his ipod/phone charger.
After we went out to dinner and for lights we came home and watch some How I met your mother. I have gotten Chad addicted. I started watching from the beginning and I have all the seasons so I made Chad watch the first few episodes and he got hooked. I like watching them all over again its fun. We are now on season 4.
Saturday day we went to the galleria(horrible idea) to finish up some Christmas shopping and we wanted to get a few ornaments for our tree. Macy’s had a great ornament selection and we got a Dallas Cowboys one, and A&M one(clearly for Chad), a 2009 Christmas(for our first Christmas together), and one that says NOEL. They are really cute and I love them.
That night we went to Chad’s work Holiday Party at his boss’ mansion. It was an amazing house and the food was great. Then we went to my friends Chris and Eric’s party. We chatted a lot with this super fun married couple Michele and Baxter and hopefully we will get to hang out with them soon.
Sunday I spent most of the day doing work, laundry and watching football. Then last night we got to watch a few more How I met your mothers and I managed to stay awake which is very odd for me. Usually when we put in a DVD I fall asleep in about 20 minutes.
It was really nice to spend so much time together this weekend. Next weekend will be even busier but I cant wait 🙂
