So I see a lot of people do random fact posts and Im sure you honestly have better things to do with your day than read 10 things about me you didn’t know or maybe you knew some of them but nevertheless here are 10 things about me maybe you didn’t know.
1. I am ambidextrous. Yes I can write with both hands. I broke my right wrist twice and had to learn to write with my left hand so I can write with either hand now.
2. I have a very thin skin and things get to me really easy, but I come off like I have a really thick skin and dont let things get to me.
3. I’ve only ever been on a boat once and it was a small one, open water terrifies me.
4. My divorced parents are best friends.
5. I met my two best friends under really odd circumstances. One at a house party and one through blogging.
6. I have a texting friendship with my favorite author Emily Giffin, she texted me every single day my dad was in the hospital to check on him. She also texted me when Mi Cocina opened in Atlanta(where she lives) because we got drunk together there in Dallas.
7. I prefer to stay home than go out.
8. I never wear heels. I currently own two pairs of wedges and thats a BIG deal for me.
9. I usually have to reheat my latte 3-4 times in the morning because I get so into my work flow
10. I really want to have a verified twitter account…I just think it would be fun to be like hahaha suck it bitches

That’s so cool about Emily Giffin! Back in 2006 I had an email friendship with author Lianne Moriarty (her latest book is The Husband’s Secret – it’s soooo good!) after she read a review I wrote about one of her books on my original blog. I love how the Web makes these relationships possible. 🙂

Wedges are a big deal for me too. I’m all about flats and flip flops. I wish I could wear heels because they look great on so many people, but I’d just break my legs.

I have a friend who divorced parents are best friends! It’s so strange considering how my parents hate each other.
I just did the Liebster thing and I thought it was super fun! I like reading random things about bloggers I follow, it’s fun to see if we share the same weird stuff!
My divorced parents are BFF too, it’s weird, haha. But I kinda love it because they hated each other when they were married. And hello?? A verified twitter account would be kinda amazing.
Fun list! I used to only wear heels (I have between 30-40 pairs) but once my baby was born I switched to flats and cannot stand to be in heels too long. I only wear them for church now.

A text relationship with Emily?!?!?! OMG I am green with envy! I also have to reheat my coffee every morning….but sometimes I just end up drinking it cold because if I left my computer to reheat it I might loose my momentum. That makes me sound like a workaholic, doesn’t it?
