4 Easy Ways To Make Money From Your Blog

I have talked before about how to make money blogging and that was mainly a post about sponsored posts and affiliate links. Today I want to delve more into easy ways to make money from your blog that don’t necessarily mean sponsored posts or affiliates. So these are things you can do by leveraging your blog no matter how many page views you have or social media followers.

P_4-Easy-Ways-To-Make-Money-From-Your-Blog

  1. Sell Stuff: Maybe you could make coffee mugs, cute t-shirts, stickers, monogram decals, or custom prints. The options are endless! SO many bloggers have cute shops on Etsy, or even right through their blogs or Instagram accounts where they sell stuff. If you have always wanted to design mugs, or t-shirts, or anything really do it!
  2. Market A Service: Do you do graphic/website designs? Are you amazing at SEO?  So many bloggers offer services like blog design, Photoshop help, blog courses, consultations, etc. This is a great way to make some money. There are so many bloggers at different stages of blogging and we are all constantly learning. Not all of us are great at everything. I can’t design or code for crap. So I hire out for that. If you are awesome at something I highly suggest marketing that service!
  3. Freelance Writing: There are tons of publications that want freelance writers. Huge magazines, websites, newspapers, etc. Using your blog writing skills, social media savvy, etc you can score some great freelance writing gigs. Where to start? Think of websites, newspapers, and magazines you like and see if they are looking for freelance writers. Some of them may even have full time writing positions available!
  4. Virtual Assistant: A great way to make money as a blogger is to be a virtual assistant for another blogger or a few other bloggers. This could include things like sharing their posts, commenting on posts from other bloggers, helping manage social media, helping manage emails, the options are endless. A lot of VA’s that I know make anywhere between $10- $25 per hour. You can also do a lot of this work on a very flexible schedule. So if you have another job, or kids, or maybe several part time jobs this would be perfect. Plus you are using your skills you have learned from blogging and social media and making a lot of connections. It’s a win win win for everyone.

Great ideas! I always wish I was more creative when it came to cute stuff like mugs and t-shirts and what not. I had never heard of VAs until I joined this crazy blogging world. And hats off to those who do it, because keeping up with my own stuff is challenging. I can’t imagine doing it for others!

I’ve heard of Virtual Assistants before but never really pursued it because I thought it was mostly for people scheduling appointments, booking flights and that sort of thing, which I have no interest in doing, but I didn’t know you could manage other people’s social media accounts! If so, I definitely might need to check into that because that’s something I would love doing. Any tips for going into that field?

  51. Unfortunately, there’s really no such thing as an “easy” way to make money blogging. All of these methods take a significant amount of work. In the beginning, there’s the work that you put into having people discover your services, your shop, etc. And the work itself is time consuming.
