Five Tips To Boost Your Page Views

Do you ever notice your page views hit a stagnant point? Or maybe you just aren’t seeing the numbers you hope for. I mean sure we all want to have 10 million page views a month, and while that may not be the most reasonable goal, I do want to share five tips to boost your page views that will help and will get you to a better page view spot!

Five-Tips-To-Boost-Your-Page-Views

  1. Link within your post: I find that when I am talking about beauty products, working out, blogging, or really anything, if I refer to a few different posts within the post, my page views that day will double or even triple. Most likely, whoever is reading that post will also go click on those links. It’s hard for me to think of a situation in which you won’t be able to link another post or two. For instance, if I am talking about workout motivation and talk about how you should stay hydrated during a workout, I would link my post about ways to drink more water.
  2. Share on social media: Sharing your posts on all forms of social media is extremely helpful. I find that if you schedule your posts(also helpful) for the same time each day and immediately share them once, then you are really helping your page views. I see a huge difference in the days I share everywhere a ton compared to the days I do not. It takes work to make people see your posts. People are inundated with links all day long. Make yours stand out! I schedule my posts for midnight and then as soon as I wake up in the morning while I am eating breakfast etc I share my posts on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram(if necessary), etc. I also schedule out several other tweets throughout the day with the post link.
  3. Pinnable images: I can not stress enough that EVERY SINGLE POST should have a pinnable image. The difference in scrolling through Pinterest and seeing a great photo, with a catchy title vs just a picture is huge. I am so guilty of not doing this all the time. Honestly, the times I do not, I see a huge drop in page views from the times that I do. Also, the times I do not, it is out of pure laziness. Do not be lazy! Do as I say and not as I do hehe. Make the image clear and not busy, and make the title catchy. Lots of pin potential. Plus you just never know when a pin can go viral. My top 5 pinned posts have been pinned TOTAL more than 500K times.
  4. Facebook share groups: I am a part of several Facebook groups for bloggers. These are great because most of them have daily threads where you can share your posts from that day, share social links you want some love on, or if you need a little boost on a sponsored post. These are also great places to network for giveaways, or even find great blogger friends you can reach out to when you need some help. When I share my daily posts in these groups my page views skyrocket.
  5. Link ups: I used to do link ups all the time. Probably 3-4 a week. Plus, I hosted two at one point. These were great because hosting a linkup will absolutely make your page views jump and linking up to one will as well. I know there are some great ones out there still and some get more than 200 links per week. This is 200 potential new readers for your blog. Do some research and find some link ups that go along with what you blog about. Some of the linkups even have great prompts you can use to come up with post ideas. One of my favorites out there is Friday Five.

These are just five tips to boost your page views. There are a lot of ways to boost your page views and get yourself noticed in a world where hundreds of new blogs are started every day. I love talking about page views, growing your blog, growing your social media, etc. Take a look at my blog course page because these are all topics I cover in my courses. Also make sure to read the testimonials of people who have taken them, and see why my courses are different than all the others out there.

  21. Great tips! Linkups have been awesome for driving traffic, and back linking to previous posts (tweeting them too!) has really helped with my page views too.

One question: do you have any advice on how to find good blogging Facebook groups? Most of what I find is either really generic or really sketchy. :/

I always try and do my best to schedule to my social networks but some days I forget or get to busy. I need a way to remind me I guess because my pageviews are not very good and I need to work on getting more. Great post!
