Today marks 8 years since I started this blog. It’s crazy to think that something I started as a fun hobby is now a FUN career! I have been given such amazing opportunities. I have met some really fantastic people and if it wasn’t for blogging I wouldn’t have met Andrew or have Liam. So blogging in more ways than one has changed my life.
So today, I am sharing 8 fun facts about me plus a giveaway at the end!
8 Years and 8 Fun Facts
I am the biggest homebody you will ever meet. I prefer being home to going out any day of the week.
I have slight diagnosed OCD. It’s manageable but it can be really frustrating sometimes.
I am actually a very quiet person until you get to know me, then I won’t shut up.
Cleaning is my biggest stress reliever. I usually ask for at least one thing related to cleaning or organization for Christmas. Label makers are the best!
One of my favorite things to do is watch YouTube tutorials on pretty much anything.
I listen to podcasts more than anything else. Aside from sports radio.
Once I had Liam, my taste buds changed and I no longer liked sweet wine. So I drink Sauvignon Blanc now and I love it. My favorite is called Kono from New Zealand.
My favorite movie of all time is Silver Linings Playbook. The other is Up In The Air and the third is Argo.

Fun fact about me: I love eating chicken breast. Plainly roasted, no spice, no oil, no salt. Don’t ask why, I just love the dry texture and taste, haha! 😛
Cooking is my #1 passion in life! If I win this gift card I will use it towards a new set of cookware so I can get rid of my hand me down set that is sooooooooo old!

My alcohol consumption changed completely after giving birth (pregnancy actually). It’s been 5 years since and I just don’t get the same feeling after drinking anything alcoholic, now, after drinking even one glass of wine I just get tired and want to sleep 🙁
So that put me off alcohol… but hey, no more extra calories to think about 😉
Eep. Fun facts about myself are for some reason the most difficult thing for me. But I guess since it’s the holidays, I will say that I own approximately 15 vintage Christmas sweaters – I collect them and genuinely enjoy wearing them each year at the holidays.
Also, I need to try out Kono. And I love Silver Linings Playbook – I actually had to use that movie during one of my counseling courses to complete an intake and analysis/diagnosis on one of the characters.
I know this is weird, but I won’t eat the last bite of anything! Even if it’s a French fry, I’ll eat 99% of the fry and leave a tiny bit on the plate. So odd! One time over Christmas I was eating with my youngest brother and noticed he did the same thing! I’d never known he had the same odd habit…haha!
Hmmm a fun fact? I love socks- yes I do. I would wear a new pair every single day if I could because mt feet are always cold. Dont know how fun that is, but thats all I got

Holy moly! Congrats on 8 years! Happy Blogiversary- I look forward to reading along many more! I am a big homebody too.. I find that it gets worse as I get older… I don’t consider myself in shape but somehow I am still really flexible. I can put my leg over my head and stand on the other, hahaha. 🙂

Fun fact: I’m the direct descendant of the Scottish throne! My 22nd great grandfather was King Richard the Luon, Anf something like 8-10 Scottish kings before him are my grandfathers, etc!

I have an OCD diagnosis as well… Sometimes it’s a bit of a blessing since I tend to do certain things very well as a result, but most times it’s just frustrating! Glad I’m not the only one out there!
A fun fact about me is I am 6 ft even and never really got my “sea” legs because I am always falling. This year in October is the first time I fell and broke something my ankle.
Fun fact – I have been following your blog since almost the beginning! Fun Fact 2 – I had open heart surgery at age 5, and have been in great health since.

People tell me things! It happens all the time. Just yesterday a man (a total stranger) pumping gas next to me told me his wife died last year, he’s thinking of becoming a priest but doesn’t want to rush into anything in case he decides to get married again and his son is a US Marshall.
A fun fact about me is that I am the youngest of 6 children which makes me bossy since I was bossed around all my life! Probably why I ended up teaching! Ha! Congrats on 8 years! Wow-that’s a long time!

LOL I love TV and collecting tv series … I only have like ten and a couple are finished lol I used to collect candles that i never burnt but i got burnt up and spent a week in a burn unit. I am single mom i have been in two TWO abusive relationships lol I dont know how fun those were but they are facts 🙂

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. My hubby gets sick of all the holiday decorations but I love this time.
