How was everyone’s holiday? We had a great holiday both Hanukkah and Christmas!
We lit our Hanukkah candles every night and said our prayers. We did not do gifts for Hanukkah we usually(as a family) have always saved those for Christmas.
The week of Christmas I got to drive a Lexus SUV Hybrid for a week! So that was pretty fun! We enjoyed playing with all of the features, one of my favorites of course was the heated seats. I also loved having XM radio, amazing safety features and the ridiculously good gas mileage.
Christmas Eve Andrew and I decided to get out of the house for a bit and went to the Mall(because we are insane) two crazy things happened. One I fell yes lets all laugh. I hurt my knee pretty badly. Also Andrew let me get my dream handbag! It happened to be on sale and the last one of it’s kind. Yes I got a Mulberry Alexa bag! So excited!
She’s a beauty no?
Then we went with my mom to visit with family friends and take them Holiday goodies.
After we had dinner that night Andrew and I did our tradition of driving around our favorite Dallas neighborhoods and looking at Holiday lights. We always get cocoa from 7-11 and listen to fun Holiday music.
Then of course we came home and watched Home Alone because seeing it the Monday before at Alamo Drafthouse was clearly not enough for us 🙂
Christmas morning we woke up, had coffee and opened our stockings then our gifts. Andrew gave me some awesome stuff: workout clothes, lisa b socks, a Tocca Candle, Great makeup I needed/wanted, something from Shark Tank I’ve been obsessed with for over a year, a coffee mug with my business logo on it and a few other fun things! Before we opened our gifts I made homemade Monkey Bread for the first time ever(recipe coming soon). I made the dough from scratch too! I was proud!
He got some pretty great gifts as well.
We then took a nap and I went to see Wild with my mom. It’s our tradition to see a movie together on Christmas Day. I loved the movie just as much as I loved the book. If you are wanting to see it for sure do!
Then we had gifts with my mom who gave me 2 coffee table books, some lululemon clothes, cash, gift cards an thorlo socks(my favorites).
Then my dad too came over to Andrew and my place and the 4 of us had dinner and hung out together. It was really a wonderful Christmas with the three people I love most. I’m mad at myself for not taking more pictures. Especially since it was our first Holiday to host!
We for sure had ourselves a Merry Little Christmas! Did you?

Oh yes, we did! It was our first Christmas in our very own new house. It also snowed non-stop that day. With exception of not being with other family, it was perfect.
