Do you carry your phone in your hand while you’re doing basically everything? It isn’t just me right?
Do you keep a flimsy case on your phone that will most likely lead to the dreaded trip to the phone store and uttering the words “I shattered my phone!” Thankfully I haven’t gotten that far but I drop my phone at least once a day. This is usually how it goes. I leave in the morning to go work from a coffee shop, go to meetings, head to the gym, run errands and get home 6-7 hours later. Somehow the bag and laptop I carried to my car in the morning has doubled in size and brought along 5 of it’s friends. Now I have random bottles of water, an empty coffee mug, 3 bags from target and random odds and ends. Oh and of course I can carry all of this in the house in one trip right? Why would this be a problem? Oh and I need to carry my phone in my hand not my purse where it should be. Doesn’t everyone?
So Im struggling through the garage to house door or front door whichever seems like the lesser obstacle. I have all the bags, the laptop, the purse, the empty water bottles and coffee mug and of course my phone. Then while I’m trying to finagle the keys into the door the target bags drop the phone drops and the water spills everywhere.
I look down at my phone terrified of what I may see but guys it’s OK it’s fine! It didn’t shatter. It’s perfect! Why you ask? Because I had a case on it. Not just any case but an Otterbox.

I want to try an Otterbox case at some point. Right now I have a LifeProof case, but the biggest issues I have with it, is that it won’t fit in my arm band when I run. I have to take the phone out of the case to make it fit, which is a pain 🙂 I’d be interested in seeing if I’d have to do the same with an Otterbox.
My phone was only 60 as I refuse to buy expensive phones. Being very frugal I am very careful with it I keep 2 Rubber skins on it and I never carry it in my hand. I keep it in my purse only. Otter makes the best covers but they are super expensive so not for me. Phones are expensive enough!
I’ve never dropped my phone on the ground, but once I dropped it in the toilet and then peed on it on Black Friday 3 years ago. It still worked but still. I had to get a new one because it grossed me out putting it up to my face. LOL!
Looks like Otterbox doesn’t make a case for my phone–thanks for the reminder that I need to protect it somehow!
I’m not crazy about bulky phone covers but lately it seems like I need a phone cover, some stuffing and some bubble wrap to keep my phone safe! Thanks for the info!
Thankfully I have a really sturdy old phone. You know, th eknd with which you can only make calls and send text messages. However, when I do get a smartphone, I really need to give Otterbox a look for the case, sot hat I won’t be wrecking my phone on the first day of use.
I definitely need a case for my phone. It’s so hard to find a cute one for the brand mine is. I wish I just had an Iphone, but I have some type of Android, and I don’t even know the name. I’ll have to ask my nephew again because he has the same one. 🙂

I love my Otterbox. My husband is a construction worker and without Otterbox his phone would have almost lasted one whole day. We wouldn’t be without them!
I had an otter box on my 4s years ago, but didn’t love the bulk. However, I had the biggest, bulkiest case they had (I had 3 kids under the age of 5 then). Now, I have gone to a slimmer case, but with a glass cover that I love. And need – because the tempered glass cover has already cracked! 🙂
Wow! When I heard “Otterbox” I was thinking “big bulky case.” But that one is surprisingly cute! I’ll have to give them a look. 🙂
