How to Have a Great At Home Date Night

This post brought to you by Andre Champagne. The content and opinions expressed below are that of A Complete Waste of Makeup.

Having a date night out of the house can be expensive. Especially if you want to have lots of date nights. Andrew and I love to go on dates out of the house but we try to have date nights at home as much as possible. I want to share my favorite ways of how to have a great at home date night without any hassle!

1. Turn off technology: When you are at a movie or a restaurant you probably aren’t looking at your phone all the time are you? No. So when you are at home with your significant other make sure you limit the phone time. Turn on do not disturb and don’t surf the web or play on Social Media.

2. Plan together: Decide together what you are doing. Are you watching a movie?  Catching up on your favorite DVR shows? Cooking together? Try something you both like. I love watching shows and Andrew loves to cook so we usually combine the two. We will cook dinner together and then watch something fun.

3. Make it special: We love to make it special by adding a yummy desert or having a drink together. I do not drink often so on this date night we opened up some Andre Champagne! We loved this champagne and had a blast watching some fun shows and drinking our Andre champagne and enjoying our bison filets! We made our date night epic by adding a special treat to it and it was so easy to do! #EpicWithAndre is our motto!

Since 1966 Andre Brut has been an ultimate luxury that doesn’t break the bank. It’s about time to make it epic with Andre – whatever “it” may be. Originally made to offer sparkling wine at an affordable price, Andre has evolved to include 9 different California Champagnes and Sparkling Wines. From Brut to Moscato, there’s something for every occasion.

We are so excited to make Andre Champagne a regular part of our at home date nights.

Do you like champagne? I encourage you to try the Andre Champagne! I think you’ll love it!

That is such a fun date night. We occasionally like to “celebrate” with champagne… even if it’s just a celebration for the end of the week. 🙂

Great post Neely! I’m not a huge fan of champagne, but I actually like it better than wine. I need to plan a home date night.

Date night at home can be really great! Going out can be very expensive and this is a really great alternative. Especially if you make a point to make it special, not just another night at home vegging out!
