When I started my journey with clean beauty it was SO overwhelming. I wanted to switch everything at once and that’s just not realistic. It takes time, trial and error, and research. So many brands are switching to cleaner, cruelty free beauty so I feel like it has gotten a TON easier and most websites like Sephora have seals that tell you if a product is clean!

9 Easy Clean Beauty Swaps To Make
Shampoo: The Goop G-Tox Shampoo is a game changer. I have turned so many people onto this! It will make your hair feel new!
Mascara: I wanted to switch the makeup I wear the most so I started with mascara. There are a TON I love. But I reach for this one from Merit the most. I also recently tried and LOVED the Soshe mascara.
Concealer: There are so many amazing options out there for concealer but the Kosas concealer is my favorite.
Body lotion: This was one of the last things I switched. I now use a body oil instead and the Cyklar body oil balm is the best parts of an oil and lotion.
Serum: If you are going to spend money on ANY serum, I truly think the Vintner’s Daughter serum is the best one. I use this every day and think it has done incredible things to my skin. In the morning I use Ursa Major vitamin C serum.
Eye cream: I am the biggest fan of the Supergoop eye cream. It’s brightening too which helps my very sleep-deprived eyes. At night I use Biossance eye cream.
Sunscreen: One of the most important switches I made was sunscreen. I use the Supergoop sunscreen and to me, it’s the best one out there.
Foundation: The Merit foundation stick is great! When something is going all over your face it’s important you have the right products!
If you have made the switch to clean beauty I would love to know what was the easiest or hardest for you. Leave them below!

I wouldn’t think of sunscreen as a beauty product, but I suppose it does count! I think it’s best to mix things up and try lotion some of the time, then spray- on.
These are all great suggestions. I’ve been meaning to change some of my beauty products. I think it’s easy to start with the body lotion.
These hacks are absolutely helpful! Thanks for sharing this with us! I will take note of these!
Your recommendations are helpful. It’s good to make informed choices, most especially when it comes to skincare.
