Around July 5th I start thinking about fall. the fun of summer has passed and it’s blazing hot in Texas and all I want to do is wear fall clothes, light a fire in the fireplace, and embrace fall. Now that we are in September and we are getting a few cooler mornings it’s socially acceptable (mostly) to go into fall mode. One way I am doing that is by adding to my fall wardrobe. I am all in on the chocolate brown trend and wanted to share some things I have purchased or just really loving and eying.
A Touch Of Chocolate
Shoes: Last year I got these Margaux boots and I will be continuing to wear them all fall. I grabbed these adidas sneakers and these Larroude flats. I also think these Veronica Beard sneakers are so fun and these perforated flats are a great one to wear while it’s not cold yet. Also LOVE these back 70 sneaker mules.
Clothes: I grabbed this Madewell brown dress (it has pockets!!) for Europe and feel like it’s a great transitional piece. It’s lightweight and sleeveless but could pair so well with a sweater draped over the shoulders or a denim jacket! I have had this suede skirt in my cart and need to pull the trigger. Grabbed this cashmere chocolate brown sweater from Quince (my favorite place for sweaters- and most things). I would love a brown coat and think this option and this option from Quince are one of the ones I am going to go with. Also love this brown teddy coat. I splurged on this Hillhouse dress which is a new to me style but it is absolutely so pretty on!
Accessories: I have been on the hunt for the perfect brown suede bag since last year. I really don’t want to spend over $500. I found several options. I love this from Madewell, this Strathberry option is great too and I love that it can be worn multiple ways. I also love this Staud version and this one Rag and Bone.
