I never leave there thinking “wow what a shit time”
Its always fun and always something new
So here is how my 4 days in Austin went down:
Tuesday:
I woke up at 6:30 and went to Walmart to buy The Social Network, then to whole foods and the I worked out for an hour.
I of course grabbed a latte at Starbucks and hit the road for my 3 hour drive to Austin.
When I got to Dana’s I was welcomed by sweet baby Ella who I tweeted 300 pictures of.
We grabbed lunch at Magnolia this cute little cafe in Austin and then went to Whole Foods flagship for groceries.
Seriously is this baby not the cutest thing ever? She is so beautiful I cant stand it! And her mommy is gorgeous too!
Tuesday night we hung out and drank wine, and cooked and watched Teen Mom 🙂
Wednesday morning Dana made me a latte in her amazing espresso maker and we had breakfast and played with Ella.
Then the sitter came for the day and we went to lunch at The Steeping room where I had honestly the best hot cocoa EVER
Then we shopped and I got two amazingly cute dresses at Luxe Apothotique and some stuff at Anthropologie and Lululemon
Then we went back to Dana’s and rested and hung out by the way this is the room and bathroom at Dana’s talk about 5 star accommodations!
Then we had dinner at a fancy restaurant called Fabi and Rosi

Then i was exhausted and a little tipsy and went to sleep
Thursday we hung around the house a lot and I worked out and we went to lunch at Chez Zee
That night we met my bff Erin at Home Slice Pizza
She is 6 months pregnant and due with a little boy to be named William in April!
she’s so adorable!!!
It was about 11 when we got home and again we went to sleep early
I got up Friday, ate breakfast and then drove back to Dallas!
3 days in Austin sure went by fast and I cant wait to go back hopefully in March!

If not, I will get the sads, but still love you. And perhaps you can recommend some groovy places to hang? My hubby and I go on a little trip over my spring break – I chose Boston last year, he chose Austin this year!
