I have always been a bit of a lip balm addict! I have at least 2 with me at all times and I keep buying them! I truly do love to try them all and find the ones that work best. Since I predominantly use clean beauty products I have only been using clean lip balms for the last few years. I got asked recently what the best clean lip balms were so I felt like it deserved its own post.
Best Clean Lip Balms
I recently grabbed the ILIA Beauty balmy days lip balm and I love that it goes on smooth and not sticky! It’s actually the perfect lip balm to use before you do any lipstick or gloss. It’s also great on its own. On the ILIA train lip wrap reviving balm is really great!
The Supergoop lip balm is what I used all summer and one of the 2 I carry with me all the time. I love that it gives a little tiny bit of gloss but just mega hydrates. It has SPF 30 so it’s perfect for when you are going to be outside.
The Farmacy Honey Butter lip balm is a really good price for a clean lip balm. At just $10 it won’t break the bank and it’s another one I always have with me.
I did an entire Naturopathica review recently but their lip balm is absolutely one of the best I have used. It’s so nourishing and hydrating and I really love the honey vanilla.
I was in Blue Mercury recently and got the M-61 Hydraboost lip treatment. I love that it has SPF and it is VERY hydrating.
The Saie lip balm is the newest one I’ve tried. It is SO GOOD for a your lips but better look!
I feel like all of these are great choices and they all have varying price points. I find all of them to be worth their money and if you are in the market for a clean lip balm you can’t go wrong.

I’m such a lip calm fanatic too!!! My favorite has always been good ol’ Vaseline, but I’m really loving BeautyCounter these days. I’ll have to try out some out these recs!
I’ve never tried any of these. I get the lavender lip balm from Young Living and that’s my go-to. I keep one in my purse, one in the bathroom, and both boys keep one in their backpacks for school.
I’ll admit, I stay away from most clean beauty because I have pretty serious allergies to soy, oats, and avocado – which happen to be in a LOT of clean beauty products. Soy is specifically a key ingredient in most lip products – even ones that aren’t clean, like MAC lipsticks or even eos lip balms. However, I’ll have to look through some of these to see if there’s anything that caters to my allergy, because I’d love to make the switch!

These lip balms sound so incredible! I hate having dry lips and now that we’re getting into dry lip season I may need to check these out!
Now with wearing a face mask to go out, I find I need a lip balm. I have used ILIA lipsticks and liked them so I should give their lip balm a try.
I’ve been looking for clean lip products for a while. This is a great list of clean balms. Think I will try the Sugargoop one with SPF and all.

I need a new chapstick, when whenever my lips are chapt. I end up buying sticky lip balms.
I wore the Goop lip balm all summer and it worked so well! I always end up with sunburned lips and this was the first time I didn’t!
