I love makeup. Even if I do not put a full face on everyday, I have always loved trying new products and testing things out. I really love drugstore makeup. Not necessarily because it’s less expensive (although that’s a huge plus) but because it’s really great quality. Seriously I have some drugstore makeup that works way better than high end stuff. Today I am sharing my favorite and best drugstore makeup. This is purely my opinion, but maybe you’ll find a few new products.
Best Drugstore Makeup
Face
One of my favorite primers is the Nyx studio perfect primer. I bought it on a whim one day and it’s become my go to. I have raved about the Maybelline BB cream so many times on this blog and it’s been a favorite of mine for years. I saw a beauty guru on YouTube talk about it and had to try it, and I have repurchased it so many times since! The Maybelline fit me concealer is a newer to me product. I have only been using it for a few months but I really love it! I bought this powder in Atlanta when I traveled and left my setting powder at home. I wasn’t expecting much but it shocked me how great it is. It gives you amazing coverage without looking cakey! This blush by Milani is another staple of mine. I have a few of them, but Luminoso is hands down my most used. Need a good setting spray for under $8? This is it.
Eyes
For eyes, first of all, if you need a bargain brow product that will change your life this Nyx eyebrow pencil is one of my fav products. I can’t really justify spending $25 every time I need an eyebrow pencil and this one is just as good. Maybelline sent me a ton of their palettes a while back and the nudes is the one I use most. It’s a really great dupe for Naked Basics and a fraction of the cost. It’s not as high quality and you may have to use a bit more to get the same effect. As far as drugstore eyeliners go, this L’Oreal one is pretty great. It’s not the most amazing product I have ever used but for the price it’s a winner. There are a lot of great drugstore mascaras out there. I can think of about 10 off the top of my head but to me The Falsies will always be my favorite.
Lips
My two favorite lip products are from Revlon. Their super lustrous lipstick and lipglosses are amazing. I have too many to count!

I love Milani Blush (especially in Luminoso) and the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is one of my all time favorites! I love finding high quality makeup at a fraction of the price! I will say though, the Maybelline Nudes Palette just hasn’t worked for me. Compared to my high end palettes, it’s just not as pigmented and the shadows seem very chalky to me!
I love drugstore makeup because if you like it, you can’t beat the price, and if you don’t like it, there is no guilt because you didn’t spend much. Problem is, there is so much to choose from. I am going to check out your suggestions. I haven’t tried the Nyx Studio Primer or the setting spray. I am going to have to get that! I use Revlon lipstick all the time. Love it! Milani blushes are fantastic! I also really enjoy using the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I have such oily skin and it’s the only face powder I’ve used that helps to keep my skin shine free for a little while longer than I’m used to. I’m gonna have to try the NYX primer you recommended! It looks similar to the Smashbox Photo Finish

I really need to start buying NYX. I see it a lot but have never really used it.
I am totally with you on the price of eye liner. I almost always buy eyeliner from the drug store, occasionally a mass merchandiser if I’m in there and need it.
I’ve never purchased anything other than drug store makeup and I’m so glad that someone made a list to tell me what the best stuff is. I’m great with fashion…not so much with makeup lol thanks so much for sharing 🙂

Rimmel also has a really good eyebrow pencil too, it’s one of my favorites! The “fit me” series has really good foundation too! Thanks for sharing, I’m going to try the blush for sure!!
I love drugstore makeup posts!! I’ve been loving the Maybelline Fit Me and Dream Mousse foundations as well as my staple mascara, Jordana.
I love the Maybelline BB cream too. I have been using a Cover a girl Palette titled Roses…beautiful!
Love the nudes eye shadow for when I don’t want something sparkly or to pop (like Urban Decay).
I need to try more NYX although I’m afraid their prices here in Canada aren’t reall “drug store”, heck we don’t even sell NYX in drug stores, they’re starting to open up shops here in Toronto.
NYX is one of my favorite drugstore brands. I use their setting powder and it’s the best.

This couldn’t have come at a better time! I’ve been wanting to pick up a few new items, but while my wishlist still longs for Sephora products, my budgets leading me to drugstore prices. I’ll have to check a few of these out!
I am definitely going to listen to you and try out the finishing spray and primer! I tend to not fill in my brows unless I’m doing something important because of how expensive nicer eyebrow pencils can be, so I’ll definitely have to try this one out!!

The Maybelline Fit Me concealer is my GO-TO! It’s the only one I buy (although I’ve been wanting to try the new Too Faced and Urban Decay Naked Skin ones). I also adore the Nyx micro brow pencil. I used it all the time before I got my ColourPop one. I love these items! Drugstore definitely has some amazing products. I want to try so many more Nyx products like that setting spray! Great post!

Love your selection of items. I always look for makeup suggestions. I only wear make up on special occasions and probably look like a lost soul in the makeup department.
I have a L’Oreal nude eyeshadow palette and it’s AMAZING. I couldn’t justify buying the Urban Decay one & this does NOT disappoint; it’s the best combo of neutrals/earth tones (which is all I wear). I also LOVE Maybelline Define-a-Lash as an everyday mascara 🙂

Girl, we’ve got a lot of the same favorites! I love the NYX setting spray, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and the Maybelline BB Cream, and the Maybelline mascara! Basically, Maybelline is my favorite lol

Pretty much everything I use is a drugstore brand! LOVE Cover Girl Lash Blast and am really liking the Full Lash Bloom mascara, too. For eyeliner I go for the $1 elf Cosmetics. Can’t get much better than $1! It might be a little hard to get on, but it doesn’t smudge or lighten up during the day.
I loved all the products. I can’t even miss one products. Can’t I get the whole kit?
