It has been a long time since we have had several relaxing weekends in a row. Where the biggest worries are what time to go to the gym and how many cups of coffee is too many?
Between working, birthdays, wedding planning, family events etc its so rare that I get to stop, breathe and enjoy free time.
The best part of weekends is for sure the point in which I realize I have nothing to do.
This past Sunday I enjoyed a very leisurely morning on our patio which is quickly becoming one of my favorite places. I sat with my iPad and a cup of coffee and read a new book in the warm-ish air.
Currently reading Maybe Someday which is amazing and currently loving and using constantly my Kate Spade coffee tumbler and Bando “I Am Very Busy” iPad case. Swoozies was so sweet to send me both! They really make my Sundays so much more enjoyable and also mobile. I can use them on our patio or even take them across the street to Starbucks and have them fill up my tumbler while I sit outside or inside and read. Plus both are perfect for my workbag when I have on the go meetings.

Oh, relaxing weekends. I need some! We were busy this past weekend, though we did have a fair amount of down time, too, which was unusual. Sunday night I stayed up way too late and finished a book, which is always my favorite thing to do.
And the answer is, there’s no such thing as too many cups of coffee!

Gym, a good read, and a cup of coffee describes pretty much every weekend I’ve had lately! I used to look forward to going out and seeing friends on the weekend. But as I got older my weekend are more about re-charging for the week ahead and taking time to do the things I love most.
