Best Tools For Your Blog Part 2

Several months ago I shared a post with you guys about the best tools for your blog. Today, I am sharing even more tools for your blog you should be using! These are tools I could not function without!

Best-Tools-For-Your-Blog-Part-2

Dropbox: I am a huge fan of Dropbox for a lot of reasons. The main thing I use it for with my blog is to keep things I may need in a pinch easily accessible from all of my devices. For instance I get a lot of pitches from brands. So say I am out and a brand pitches me but they want a copy of my media kit. I always keep a current updated copy of media kit in Dropbox to easily email! I also keep an updated analytics screenshot, a headshot, my resume, and a few more items. Dropbox has been a lifesaver on many occasions. Also you can auto sync your phone photos to Dropbox!

IFTTT: This is such a fun, unique, and helpful tool! There are so many different things you can use it for and an endless amount of combinations. It stands for If This Then That. For instance, if it rains tomorrow, then email me in the morning. If I post to my Twitter, share it to my Blog Facebook. If I share a photo to Instagram, post it to Twitter. So on and so forth. Go sign up. You’re welcome.

Click To Tweet: Do you see at the bottom of this post that cute little bird saying “tweet this?” That’s click to tweet. It’s a tool that allows you to set up personalized tweets so you can include them in your blog post to have people tweet them out. I just started using it a few weeks ago and it’s super fun!

Buffer: This is the tool I use to schedule all of my tweets! When I was on my cruise a few weeks ago I had every tweet relating to blog posts scheduled out for the entire week. I pay for the upgrade, which is $10 a month, and to me it’s completely worth it.

Wisepops: This is the tool I use on my blog to pop up to sign up for my email. I love how easy it is to use and how clean and simple the popup looks. I have seen some ROUGH looking popups on people’s blog and this one to me is amazing. I highly suggest it if you are looking for a great looking, easy to use popup that will give you all of the analytic information you need.

Google Keep: I blame my husband for my obsession with all things Google. He did used to work there after all. I digress. I love Google Keep for lists. I am a huge list person, and while I love the Simplified Planner app for my daily to do list, Google Keep is great for list sharing! We used this for keeping track of things we needed to do before our trip as well as our weekly grocery list. I am also slowly starting to use this for reoccurring things I do weekly for my blog. Once you check an item off it moves it to the bottom and you can uncheck it to add it back.

These tools for your blog can really help streamline what you are doing on a daily basis and make your life so much easier!

As a new blogger I am loving all of your suggestions! Pinning this AND tweeting this for the future! As for me, I’m pretty enamored with Post Planner, Tail Wind, and Hootsuite for preparing my posts for the week on various social media channels. 🙂
