Andrew and I are moving soon and I wanted to add some touches of color to our new place. One of my favorite photos we have recently taken was on Valentines Day before we headed out to see The Book of Mormon. I knew this picture deserved a special frame and for the life of me I could not find a reddish frame that I loved.
I adore the above picture so I found a simple wooden white frame and decided to paint it. If you are ever looking to upgrade a plain frame this was super easy. All you need is paint(I chose “Bold and Beautiful” from Ace Hardware), a small brush and a frame.
I used a box we had as my support for the project. I then gathered my supplies together and began painting.
It didn’t take too long and the finished product is a great red frame that I can put this picture that I love of our first married Valentines Day in. I can’t wait to display it in our new home. I let it dry outside for a bit then it was perfect!
What is something you have done to take a plain item and give it some sass?
Any other simple ideas you want to share with me?
The great part about Ace is that Going to The Paint Studio at Ace is like going to your neighbor.

That’s a nice color! I haven’t painted a frame before but I should try it!
We paint frames all the time. We do it as a gift from my little one for birthdays. Love the color!
