My Favorite Blogging Experience

I have been blogging for more than 5 years consistently now and I want to talk about my favorite blogging experience or experiences.

1. The people I have met: I am pretty sure the first time I met a blogger in person my parents though I was crazy. My IRL friends thought I was crazier and my boyfriend at the time did not understand. Some of the best friends I have in the world are ones I have met through blogging. I am so grateful for the people that support me, love me, listen to me when I cry, are there to celebrate successes and are there to chat about random TV shows with me.

2. Travel: I love being able to travel to attend events and blog conferences. I have gotten to explore some pretty amazing cities, hear some incredible people speak and meet women I consider my mentors. Traveling is one of my favorite things to do and the fact that I can do that with something I love is just the best.

3. Unreal Opportunities: Attending Cowboys games and concerts, reviewing amazing products, interviewing celebrities, going to events. How did I get so lucky?

4. Helping others: A few months ago I had an idea to do a monthly blog course. I have had two now. Both times I left that five hours feeling ridiculously happy. I felt like I had gotten to know some amazing women and also helped them being a new journey to making their blog more of a business. I am so lucky to be able to use my knowledge to help others!

What do you consider your favorite blogging experience so far?

I’ve only been to two blogging events and I had a lot of fun at both events. I also love getting stuff for free to review.

  11. I definitely think blogging has been an amazing thing for me. Though I haven’t shared in many of the same experiences you have… I hope to get to meet some of the bloggers I have grown to love…as well as hopefully find a more local blog conference to go to at some point. I love getting to read the various blogs and get to know people… definitely helps when life gets me down!!

Neely, every day on the blogasphere is a new experience for me. I told my hubby the other day that when I log into my blog in the morning and start seeing everyone online, I travel all over the world, share in celebrations, pray for those who are hurting, and just giggle over some funny story. How much more could any ask in just a couple of hours’s time.
