Happy Thursday friends! Recently I was going through my makeup and trying to decide what was absolutely necessary when I travel or to have on my incredibly small counter space in my bathroom. I keep all extra makeup in organizers under my sink but I like to have certain things out that I use daily or almost daily. As I like to cal them my holy grail makeup products. Not all of these products are used together and not all are used daily but over the 17 or so years I have been wearing makeup I have figured out what I like and do not like and these products have become the favorites.
1. Stila Liquid Liner: This is probably the item I have been using the longest. I am fairly certain this product was originally given to me in a sample but I soon after that bought the full size and continue to buy it anytime I get slightly low on eyeliner.
2. Benefit Hoola Bronzer: This is a more recent purchase. About 6-8 months ago after hearing many raves about it I scooted my butt to Ulta and purchased one of many benefit products. This one is great for me. I am super pale and somedays I just need an extra boost. This is great for contouring and giving your skin a nice glow.
3. Benefit Erase Paste: Dark circles? Check. This stuff takes those pesky dark circles away. It’s called erase paste and that’s exactly what it does.
4. Maybelline BB Cream: OK I have tried expensive BB creams and drugstore BB creams and a lot of them are great. I wanted light coverage and something to even out my skin rather than feel super heavy. I wanted something that would just feel good on my skin. This is it! It gives you perfect coverage but especially in summer does not make your skin feel heavy.
5. Revlon Matte Balm in Sultry: This is an amazing lip color and amazing price. I am fairly certain I bought 3 of these. It’s very hydrating on your lips as well as the staying power which is AMAZING!
6. Covergirl Super Sizer Mascara: Covergirl sent me a ton of makeup products a few weeks ago and this mascara was inside. I tried it immediately and it was become my go to. It’s a great dupe for benefit roller lash but a fraction of the price. It’s very wet which I like and the spooly is very thin. It is a perfect mascara.
7. NARS Orgasm and NARS Albatross: I wear these together all the time and I have been using them for several years. Orgasm is a great blush which I am sure you have heard people talk about before. Albatross is an amazing highlighter. Paired together they give your face a great glow!
8. Naked Basics: I have a lot of eyeshadow palettes but this is the best one. I use it almost daily and I really never need any other colors. It has a lot of basic(duh) colors in it and if you aren’t looking to do anything crazy to your eyes this is the only palette you will ever need.
9. Benefit Gimme Brow: Another benefit product. Can you guess which my favorite brand is? NO seriously I have tried others, I have tried dupes and name brands and this is the best. I use it everyday. I never leave the house without it on and if you are looking for an amazing brow product this is it!
I would love to know what your holy grail makeup products are!

#8…I gotta get!
I LOVE those Revlon balms, and Sultry is one of my favorites, too! I swear I always need to just print out your posts and take them shopping with me, Neels. I love Sultry in the fall and prefer the shade Sweetheart – a bright pop of pink – for spring and summer!

Benefit is my all time favorite, t is made here in the Bay area and is a all women company. Developed by women, animal cruelty free and great products. I just wish I could afford it. .I am devoted to their mascara called “They are real” Try it you will adore your lashes. I use it with a primer and it is like growing new lashes. My other favorite is Queen Helena Cocoa butter Lotion Its hydrating and makes your skin soft. I buy it by the quart. EOS lip balm , I have a serious addiction LOL I swear I sit in traffic and am putting it on all the time.
Naked Basics is the best palette ever! I am obsessed and wear it everyday.
Love the sound of the Revlon balm. I have a few from other brands, so this will be a new one to try, thanks!
