If I am Being Honest:
Somedays I am more excited for my honeymoon than my wedding (I blame wedding stress)
I get overly excited when I see someone has been purchased from our registries
I am in control of the remote 90% of the time
I am beyond OCD and need everything to be clean before bed
I love vacuum lines (yes I am weird)
I feel so much better about my day when I work out
I could spend hours watching Youtube
The past 2 weeks have been 2 of the toughest I’ve personally been through
I hate Mondays
I equally hate Tuesdays…not sure why
I hate Summer weather
I much more prefer a life in leggings and boots
I am extremely nervous about becoming a mother someday
I love going to movies alone
I rewatch ridiculous shows over and over again
Sometimes I get really down and depressed for no reason at all
I can’t walk into Target, CVS etc without buying makeup
I miss certain times in my life a lot even though I love where my life is now
Sometimes I do not have time the day or week before to schedule my blog posts even though I map out what each will be 3 months in advance
If you are being honest today what is one thing you would say?
I too like to check my registries like a madwoman and get giddy when I see something has been purchased. Thankfully I have no active registries now!
I too detest Mondays. And because of my job, I detest Tuesdays equally as much.
Honesty is always the best policy! As we continue to grow older, some of the things that annoyed us in the past will no longer matter.
Missing certain times in life, even though the now is wonderful is one of my feelings as well. I think the older I get, the easier life is and happier too! (minus the turmoil in the world)
Loving life.
Great, fun read. Thanks for sharing honestly!
We have a lot in common! I love vacuum line and there is nothing better than going to a movie solo!
Sorry you’re going through a rough spot! Just remember “this too shall pass”. xoxo
You map out blog posts 3 months in advance? That is amazing! I’m lucky to do it a week in advance. haha Also, I definitely prefer life in leggings and boots as well.
I admire you so much for mapping out your blog posts so far ahead of time! Definitely a goal of mine.
I’m so with you on having everything cleaned up before bed. I hate waking up to a messy home, and I will never understand why someone would want to wake up and have to do dishes or tidy up yesterday’s mess!
I love all of your honesty! Hehe!
I’m nervous about being a mom some day too.
Couldn’t agree with you more about leggings and boots and hating summer weather! Good thing I live in Seattle. 🙂
i love trashy summer tv…like i maybe watched all of the episodes of fox’s “i wanna marry harry” on hulu, even after they cancelled it like halfway through. i was totally invested.
I flipping hate summer weather too! I’m so ready for leggins, boots & sweaters & scarves!
3 months in advance? Gosh! I run along with a rough idea for the next three. Approximately. If we are talking outfits …

I love your honesty as well! It is so refreshing!
We have a ton in common! This post made me laugh.
Ha! Loved this post. I am guilty of some of those too!
I hate summer weather too! I’m such a winter person and always get a little crazy in the summer… depressed, sad, hating life, breaking up with bf’s (in the past!)…
Where is your honeymoon destination? We just got back from Puerto Vallarta – paradise!!
I remember being told not to look at my registries or they’d consider that cheating. However what people didn’t know, won’t hurt them! 😉
Ahh 3 months in advance!? You’re so organized lady, I love that about you 🙂
Agreed on the leggings (and the honeymoon would definitely be the most exciting part to me too! Great food, travel, no work, no stress, all play!)
So excited to see the coverage of your wedding this Fall xo
If I am being honest, I think we should all eliminate the standard 8 hour work day. Why not make it 4 hours, 5 days of the week? I think people would be much happier! Less work, same pay, more play!
I love the e-cards!
A lot of these ring true for me as well. Jake and I decided to elope because I could not handle planning a wedding. So I feel you on the honeymoon thing.
On becoming a mom, just know even the most put together people are not prepared to become a mother. The instincts are in there and when the time comes, you’ll do great!
I hope you feel better soon.
I go to the movies alone all the time. And I like summer but not humidity of the noise that comes with the summertime. It is definitely more noisy then winter. And don’t stress to much about the wedding!

Thanks for your honesty. I felt so many of these things right before my wedding! I had to remember that the marriage was more important than the wedding and that it was okay to be more excited for after the wedding than the event itself. Congrats on all the exciting things to come!
I totally connect with you on so much of this! Thanks for being so open and sharing!
LOL I was the same way with my wedding – but once it’s over you want it all back. And a few years down the line you’ll wish you could re-plan. 🙂
That last one about blog posts is so me! I’ll have them all planned for three months and then forget to write one for this week!
I always feel better and more productive when I get my workout in. These are great confessions. Really helps us get to know you better. :). I hope your Tuesday is better than Monday!
haha, so many of these are me too! i can’t believe you have your posts mapped out 3 months in advance – that’s impressive!
“I miss certain times in my life a lot even though I love where my life is now”
I can totally relate to this!
I can relate with so much of this! Especially on being a mother and loving where you are now, but missing certain aspects.
I’m pretty sure I’m more excited for the honeymoon than the actual wedding also 🙂 No shame! And if you love life in leggings and boots you should move to Portland where we have 3 months of summer and 9 months of winter/rain 🙂
Ha, I love vacuum lines too. So that makes two weirdos. 😉 And what?! You hate summer weather?! That’s cray! But I can’t lie, I do love leggings and boots. So comfy.
Where are you going for your honeymoon?
I’m not a fan of Tuesdays either. Too far from the weekend!
Love this list. My honesty story would be a sob story right now… so maybe I will keep it tucked away for a little longer.
I feel you on the honeymoon thing!
I love vacuum lines, though I hate vacuuming.
Oh wow I’d love to be able to map posts out 3 months in advance, perhaps I’d be better at blogging ha! You sound super organised. I can empathise with a lot of these, and I like vacuum lines too haha. Sorry to hear you’ve had a really tough 2 weeks 🙁
Really enjoyed reading this post 🙂 totally agree about mondays- that top pic is awesome!
Love your honesty! I love vacuum lines as well…something about it just makes it appear ‘clean’. But I do have to admit I absolutely LOVE summertime. Thanks for being open and sharing.
Love your honesty here. I was nodding my head in agreement with a lot of these. I can not go to bed with my house a mess. It would drive me nuts!
I love your honesty! I’m with you on the vacuum lines, as well!
Can I say how much I just love this post!! We have a lot in common lol. If i were to be honest about one thing: I really enjoy being by myself, but too much time by myself makes me sad.
I love it! Some of these are hilarious!
Love this post! I love summer weather, but I also enjoy my boots and leggings days! Also. YES to ecards!

I think we might be twins.

I’m also looking forward to our honeymoon more than our wedding! I probably had like 4 wedding meltdowns in the past 2 days and I’m so ready for things to get easier/FUN. They will be soon, but for now I’m just so blahhhhh. ANYWAY, cheers to getting married girl!
I think wedding anxiety is normal. It’s so hard to relax about it, but I promise in the end it will be more about marrying the person you love and not every single detail.
