I know a lot of [people get Sunday scaries but I do not. I love Sundays. Sure there are the lazy Sundays watching movies or football and taking naps. But I love to make my Sundays about as much self- care as I can. This is how to have the perfect self-care Sunday.
How To Have The Perfect Self-Care Sunday
Wake up early: I am not saying wake up at 5 but I do like to get up by 7 on a Sunday. Then I love to do my morning skincare routine, brush my teeth, and throw on some workout clothes. Ideally I would go for a long- walk then or at least do the walking pad for 2 miles.
Later in the morning I love to take a barre class. Something about a barre class on a Sunday just hits different. I think because the classes tend to be a bit smaller and not waking up at 5 I am more awake to push myself.
After that I would love to grab a smoothie or head to an infrared sauna. Then head home and take a long everything shower. I start by dry brushing before my shower, exfoliating, doing a deep condition along with all the regular shower stuff.
Then it’s time for some skincare. I do a face mask and under eye masks with my regular skincare.
The rest of the day is spent relaxing, playing with the kids, reading, napping, baking, and getting everything ready for the week.
To me this is the best way to spend a Sunday. I don’t get to do all of this super often but when I do I feel so ready for the week ahead.
