Andrew and I both turned 31 this past weekend. Our birthdays are 1 day(rather 12 hours) apart. I am one day older. Trust me he points that out as often as he can. While we did not do gifts this year. We are making a big purchase this Friday so stay tuned! We did have a fun weekend.
For some pre birthday fun Andrew got me gorgeous flowers: Tulips and Sunflowers. Also our friend John sent us a massive 3 gallon tin of popcorn from Uptown Popcorn! AHHHHMAZING!
On my birthday, Friday I woke up and went to Pure Barre and grabbed my birthday Starbucks. Then I headed home to get ready for a fun day out!
I really didn’t want to do anything too crazy for my birthday but I did want to see Insurgent at iPic our favorite movie theater. I enjoyed a glass of wine and some yummy food during the movie.
Then we went to Target and got some yogurt!
We had to head to my aunt and uncles for the Passover Sedar. We left after and went to dinner with my best friend Ally and her boyfriend Ted at Mi Cocina my favorite Mexican restaurant.
It was a fun time being sung to, hanging out with some of our best friends, talking about life and quoting friends.
After that Andrew and I did what any normal couple would do and came home to watch The Amazing Race.
Saturday morning we woke up and it was Andrews birthday! We showered and got ready for the day and grabbed some Starbucks for the errands we had. We ran some random errands then headed to lunch for some burgers! We then went to Nordstrom rack because we both needed some random stuff. Then we got shaved ice which was amazing. I hadn’t been to bahama bucks in years.
Then we grocery shopped, napped and made Tortilla Soup for dinner. Our plan to get Sushi was thwarted by Andrew being sick 🙁
Thankfully he is feeling better so we are planning our Sushi night for next weekend!
Sunday we vegged all day then went to Ally’s for Easter. So fun!
It was really a wonderful weekend and it is always a blast to celebrate our birthdays together. With that we turned 31.
