Happy March friends! I am pretty much functioning purely on coffee at this point but I’m still alive and so is baby boy so you know, winning! Today I am sharing my March goals and what I accomplished in February. I didn’t set too many goals for February as we had my impending due date on the calendar. But goals are goals!
March Goals
In February I wanted to….
- Read 3 books – I did read 3 books. I was gifted an ARC of my favorite Authors new book and I read two other amazing books. Updates coming soon!
- Go on at least one more date with Andrew – We went out for Tex Mex a few days before little man was born.
- Get the house completely in order pre baby – Yes the house was ready for the baby. I mean as much is it could be!
- Go over all my blog posts for the next few weeks – Eh I went over most of them. But I’m still able to work.
- Make sure we have everything we need for baby boy for the first few weeks – Yes we had everything an then some.
- RELAX – I sucked at this. But I had a bad sinus infection the last week I was pregnant and felt awful!
- Sleep – As much as I could! But again I was sick.
In March I want to…
- Try to go for a walk every single day with the baby (weather permitting)
- Do some light workouts once I feel up to it
- Eat healthy and not eat any fast food or crap
- Read one book. Hey I have a new baby one book would be awesome.
- Try to not be as high strung.
- Let the things I can’t control go as much as possible.
- Keep up with thank you notes as things come in.
- Get birth announcements ordered, and mailed.
So I feel like my March goals are pretty attainable. I have no idea what the weather will be like, but I am really hoping it will be good enough for lots of outdoor time.
I would love to know what your March Goals are!
Wow, is it March already? Soon it’ll be 2018! I haven’t made goals yet, but I better make some now. I think it’s awesome that you’re keeping up with a book a month after your baby – props to you.

These are great! My goals are pretty simple. This month I plan to:
-Finish getting ready for baby’s arrival (any day now)
– Get back to blogging consistently (feels like I have lacked the motivation the closer I’m getting to delivery I just feel like I have to rest before baby gets here cause that will be taken away soon!)
– Take walks with baby everyday
– Start my smoothie only diet and stick to it
– Take breastfeeding classes
– Meditate/Yoga every morning
– Clean out/declutter home and give unneeded items to charity
Gosh, you’re such an inspiration. I just feel like if and when I have a child, my goal for that month will be “Stay alive. Keep child alive too.”
You’re amazing!
Recouperating from three surgeries, writing my books, working to increase my blog reach, and finding a way to make money outside my dh’s job.
I feel like sleep should be a high priority for you… you need to be well rested if you wanna achieve all these goals 🙂
Working out is on the top of my list for March. One day at a time I determined to start consistently working out again!
These are really great goals, especially since you have a brand new human to care for! My goal this month is to finalize birthday invitations for my daughter’s first birthday (party is mid-April!) I also have a few work goals that I need to nail down.
Perfect timing to have a new baby for walks! Hopefully the weather is good and you can get in a lot of walks!
You can totally reach those goals! My goals for this month are to get everything ready for baby (due April 3rd) and to just start winding down! 🙂
Getting out with the baby is so helpful. Not only for sanity and a change of pace, but also for confidence. If anything we’d drive to get coffee or Target or go for a walk. We had lots of embarrassing meltdowns and backseat nursing sessions but it was all worth it.
Love these goals! My goal for this month is to excercise 3 times a week!
I haven’t really made any goals yet but congrats on baby boy. Getting out for a walk is a great goal for you. I remember when my kids were babies, walking is what kept me sane. Since mine were winter babies, I found myself walking the malls or stores, aisle by aisle just to keep moving and alert!
I love this! I am a mother of two and finding time for me is really hard, lol!
I am actually about to start doing fitness blogs (hopefully-lol!) so I can motivate myself to be healthier.
I love your website design and style. <3
I am likely having our little girl this month based on past labor history, so my goals are to get everything ready for baby mainly. I am planning to breastfeed the first year like with my youngest so I still need to buy a few shirts for nursing.
You did really well with your goals last month!! Especially with having your son! Reading one book is better than what I will probably get in this month and I do not even have a kid. I am also high strung when it comes to a lot of things. I have learned that sometimes you just have to be more relaxed. It makes things much better. Good luck with your goals this month!
Great goals. Some are similar to mine. working out and doing more yoga is on my list!
These are really great goals! Congratulations on the new baby!!! So exciting! I too recently had a baby. When I get caught up in all the things that haven’t been done I remind myself that those tasks will always be there but these precious moments with my baby won’t. I hope all is well with the new baby!
You got this girl! You focus on you and little man and other things will come!

You go girl! You’re killing it for still being able to keep up with things.
It is good to have monthly goals I think that sets the tone for a successful month and give priority to what is important like having a date with your beloved one.
Love these! I need to eat better too! I also need to relax haha I suck it at lately
You have a great list of goals for the month. I think I may make my own for accountablility
Congratulations on the new baby! It sounds like you were super prepared in February for his arrival. I didn’t really set any specific goals this month because it’s my last four weeks of grad school! So I’m really just focusing on all things school-related at the moment.
Posting goals on your blog is such a great idea, keeps you accountable! Letting go of things I can’t control has always been tough for me, it’s one of my goals as well!
These goals totally inspire me a ton too! Although my reading isn’t as good as yours my goal is a book a month too, whoch i’m already failing at. BUT, I’ve kept up with blogging and done a few other things so I’m off to create my own goals for march. I love reading these posts! Theyre my favorite!
Congratulations on the birth of your baby boy. Now I need to go back and see if you’ve posted about him yet.
Good luck lady! I know you are rocking mama life! 🙂
Letting things go is a big one for me too, it gets SO had sometimes!
You did a great job with your February goals–especially since you were at the end of your pregnancy! I hope you have some great weather for March so that you and your little guy can get outside. It’s been pretty warm in MN.
