Fun story: When I was in high school I really wanted to be tan in the winter. I mean don’t we all? So of course I went to my nearest drugstore and got self tanner. I put in on and had DISASTER results. I am talking orange! Not tan! So from that point on I just accepted that I was going to be pale a lot. It’s OK this has served me well…till now…
Then the Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs came into my life and HOLY WORLD OF DIFFERENCE BATMAN!
I am usually skeptical of skin products because not only am I fair skinned but I have very sensitive skin and eczema.
With my wedding in just 4.5 months I am needing to be tan in a bad way. Plus I do not want to lay in the sun because tan lines and wedding dresses do not mix! This is hands down the most perfect solution. Not only is it about the easiest thing since sliced bread (yes I made that up…sorta). But it works! It is not a gimmick or something that will make you orange. It is absolutely perfect for that glow you are needing that is PERFECT for SUMMER! It is also perfect and just what I need for those super fun and rare in my case girls nights out! Get some great looking legs, grab a Summer sun dress and grab a glass of wine with your friends! Just wait for them to ask how your legs got to looking so fabulous!
So I was sent a variety of Sally Hansen airbrush tan levels from light to darker( I chose light for reference.) I did not want to be too too tan on this first try. I also did this to get ready for some pictures we are taking!
I was also sent a super fun girls night out package from Sally Hansen! It had some great makeup from Rimmel, some fabulous Sally Hansen nail products, delicious treats, party blowers(think NYE) and plastic champagne flutes! Talk about the perfect prep stuff for a rockin girls night out!
So let’s see how great this stuff worked shall we?
First you see my crazy pants pale legs before. Yes I am THAT pale.
I wanted to really give you the full effect so I did my right leg first so you could see the comparison. How fantastic is this? No orange just a light perfect glow! Great for that in between Spring and Summer time and looks perfectly sun kissed.
What do you think? Worth trying right? I will probably try the medium next and I will for sure be using this for my wedding and honeymoon!! This is going to be a staple in my product life for a long time to come and I am sooooo beyond thrilled with the outcome. I could not recommend this more!

You were right about the products back in the day. Orange is the correct word. But wow!!! This product looks great. I live in Florida and I think I might be a tad whiter than you. 😉 I must try this for sure
Ok, I may have to try this for your wedding. I was kinda thinking maybe spray tan, but my skin is so sensitive that it might not be a good idea. This may be a good alternative!

I’ve tried the spray a few times over the years. Good stuff! I recently bought that new lotion type. I need to give it a try. Looks like it worked great on your pale skin. Did it seem to stay put and not come off on your clothes? Stacie xo
Love self tan and have tried so many but not Sally Hansen. I would love to try this seeing how well it worked for you
I have very fair skin, like you do. I burn very easily or just add to my million freckles. This tanner looks fantastic. I am going to have to try it. I will be at the party with fingers crossed, hoping to get a package to try with friends.
