Charlotte is 2 and a half! It’s crazy! She is all over the place and becoming less and less of a baby every day. She has VERY particular interests and is really starting to take to certain activities. I know going into being a mom I had no idea what kids my toys would be into so I hope this is helpful if you need toys for a toddler girl at 2.5 years old!
Toys For Toddler Girls At 2.5 Years Old
Play Kitchen: This has continued to be one of the best investments. I feel like it really makes them both use their imagination but Charlotte especially has taken to a lot more pretend play with it.
Plasma Car: This was an impulse purchase I did for the kids and honestly it’s been the best. ALL of us love riding it around the house and I want to get a second one.
Swing Set/Climbing Things: Charlotte is my daredevil. She loves to climb and jump and run. When we got our swingset a few years ago I really didn’t buy it with her in mind but she LOVES it! It has a rock climbing side and she is working on that.
Tonies: If you don’t have Tonies you need them! They are little boxes that play music and stories. We have tons like Elsa, Buzz Lightyear, Llama Llama, and more!
Trampoline: We have a mini inside trampoline that we’ve had since Liam was a baby but Charlotte has been using it a ton lately!
Lovevery Boxes: These are the best Montessori subscription boxes. We had the playmat for Charlotte as a baby too and have done the boxes for her ever since she was born.
Dollhouse: We have a really fun gender-neutral dollhouse that both kids have loved but lately Charlotte has been playing house with it a lot.
Little purse, phone, computer: Anything adult that you can make into a play toy she loves. She has a little purse, phone, and computer, and loves to pretend to be mommy!
I feel like this is changing constantly but for now, these are the toys for toddler girls at 2.5 years old we are getting the most use out of!
What are some of your favorite toddler girl toys?
This is so helpful. One of my friends has a daughter who is about to be this age and it’s great to know what to get for her 🙂
These are such great ideas! My nieces birthday is coming up and she’s around this age!

A dollhouse is a classic toy for any little girl. I had one when I was a girl, and my daughter had one, too.
I love gifting my nieces dollhouses. You can just see their imagination working when they play with the dolls and the house 🙂
This is super useful because I always struggle with picking out presents for little ones. I want to get them cute clothes or shoes but that’s not fun and they will be grown out of it by tomorrow. Then I struggle when it comes to toys because I don’t ever know if it’s appropriate for the age or interesting for the babies.
Gosh, so many toys that my girls over the years have had as toddlers. But I have to agree who the others on here who mentioned the dollshouse. It is a true classic toddler girl gift, for sure.
We can never go wrong with a dollhouse. My girls love them.
Plasma Car for my nephew. I like it. And so I guess kids will find the toys educational, too.
My girls had toys like this when they were younger. Their favorite was a giant dollhouse I got them. They couldn’t believe the size- it was bigger than either one of them! It provided hours of fun.
Awesome toys to consider for our kids. What I’m looking at right now is the “Kitchen Play Thing”. My daughter will definitely love it!
wow, thank you for this post… this is why I love internet! I just need some toys for a toddler girl at 2.5 years old 🙌🏻
These toys look like so much fun for toddlers! Just shared your article with my friend who has little ones who I am sure would want to order these. Thank you for sharing
Hhhhmmm…I am glad to hear this. It has been building blocks and toy cars! She just loves them a lot.
Yes to trampolines! We got our little girl one and she’s so happy with it. This is a great list. We’re thinking of getting her a play kitchen too.
Those are some great selections of toys you got there. It’s good to have them to spark your kid’s mind and creativity. Thanks for the share!
