14 TV Shows And Movies That Give The Best Fall Vibes

When Harry Met Sally: Honestly probably my favorite movie ever! I have loved this movie forever and it is quintessential fall.

Gilmore Girls: If you don’t immediately watch Gilmore Girls when the weather gets cooler what are you doing? I feel like most of the series takes place in the fall/winter months and especially once Rory is in college.

Gossip Girl: Again, major fall NYC vibes. Always a favorite to rewatch- especially the first season.

Everwood: This is probably a smaller audience but I am a HUGE Everwood fan. One show I will rewatch over and over again, especially in the fall.

Practical Magic: Of course when Halloween rolls around I have to watch my favorite Halloween movie, Practical Magic. The book is also great!

Little Women: I know this is really more of a Christmas movie but I still love it in the fall. I am referring to the 1994 version.

Mona Lisa Smile: A great movie to watch any time but with the college vibes it’s definitely more fall for me.

Love Story:  If you haven’t seen Love Story do yourself a favor and watch it. It’s definitely a tear-jerker but gives you the fall feels.

Friday Night Lights: Both the movie and the show are amazing and of course, it revolves around football season.

Good Will Hunting: A true classic and a great one to watch in the fall.

St Elmo’s Fire: Probably not one you’d immediately think of for fall but it takes place starting a few months after college graduation and you see a group of friends navigating life postgrad.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower: Coming of age story with Emma Watson and one of my favorite movies for fall.

Friends: I put this on here specifically for the Thanksgiving episodes.

You’ve Got Mail: A bouquet of sharpened pencils. Need I say more??

  8. I honestly started watching Friends more closely during the Pandemic. I can not stop now. Whenever I feel there’s nothing to watch on Netflix, I turn on Friends.
