Do you have those friends that are just impossible to shop for? Maybe they are coworkers that you don’t know super well outside of the office. Maybe it’s your best friend and she always says “oh you don’t have to get me anything!” Or maybe it’s your mom and she has it all. Well Marie Claire is a lifesaver for that. I picked up the December issue of Marie Claire and holy goodness! They are packed full of amazing ideas for all of your girlfriends! They have their own Ultimate Gift Guide and I took that and ran with it and came up with an Ultimate Girlfriend Gift Guide for all the ladies!
So I sat down with some hot cocoa, my Marie Claire December issue and I got to planning out gifts for all the difficult to shop for ladies in my life! I came up with my ultimate girlfriend gift guide! Hopefully this will help you plan out the perfect gift for your friends and family.
For the coworker friend:
Try a cute set of earrings or bangle bracelet. Something stylish and chic she can wear from the office to happy hour and never has to change. Another great gift for her would be a great work bag or purse. Something that can hold her daily essentials and also her laptop or iPad.
For your fitness lover friend:
Nothing says Merry Christmas more than an Apple Watch or Fitbit. Something she can track her steps and calories but also look amazing. I personally love the Tory Burch Fitbit and when I saw it in the magazine major swoon! Some stylish workout clothes are a great gift too. One year a friend gave me some super cute workout pants and workout top and I loved it! A cute water bottle or tumbler from Kate Spade would make a great gift too. She can look stylish at her barre class!
For your momma:
I always get my mom some amazing perfume. Stella McCartney is her absolute favorite but lately I have personally been loving Michael Kors and she told me she wanted to try it. I think moms can be tough to shop for. So buy her something she wouldn’t treat herself with like a fabulous cashmere sweater from Banana Republic or even a subscription to Marie Claire so she can stay on trend all year!
For your best friend:
I tend to grab my friends things I know they wouldn’t get for themselves. I think something like a new makeup palette from Urban Decay, or some fabulous Chanel nail polish can make a great gift because they are just something people tend to not be able to justify as a gift for themselves. Even some new Ray Ban sunnies would make a great gift. She’s your best friend, so treat her to something amazing!
Honestly, I could give you 300 categories with ultimate girlfriend gift guide ideas after reading the December issue of Marie Claire but I will let you grab the magazine and enjoy it. Seriously pick it up next time you are at the grocery store or Target, because if you are stuck on what to get anyone, they’ve got you covered!
