I’m never ready for Mondays lately. Maybe it’s because our weekends have been super busy prepping for the wedding and trying very hard to “relax.” Well none of that happened…at least the relaxing part.
Well here is my weekend via Instagram which if you are not following me you should 🙂
Friday we got a new Wedding gift! Hello brand new vitamix we love you.
Saturday we were a house divided football wise but we still love each other 🙂
Brunch with Ally and Ted at Braedwinners….all the coffee
Got some wedding gifts from my Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle….My grandparents went a little crazy(in a good way) at Crate and Barrel. Hello Kitchenaid Mixer 🙂
Andrew wasn’t feeling well Saturday so I got a little crafty and made a new Fall Wreath for our door. Will have the DIY tutorial up later this week!

Sunday my mom gave us the most amazing gift ever! All of our wedding invites for various parties and the Holiday card we sent right before we got engaged! Seriously AMAZING GIFT! Go momma!
Andrew had a bad migraine and was still not feeling well Sunday night so I watched some Downton Abbey and had oatmeal for dinner. Yeah it was that kind of night.
Other notes of the weekend: Had a nice breakfast with my dad Sunday morning. Our last just us breakfast before the wedding. It was very emotional but it was wonderful! Love my family!
Also Andrew’s good friend Amaan who is a groomsmen in our wedding came over to hang out for a bit this weekend since we were not really up to leaving much. I feel bad cause I put him to work helping me reorganize our kitchen 🙂 Love you buddy!
All in all my weekend was a great weekend. Wish Andrew felt better and hopefully he does today!
I love snapping shots of the weekend on Instagram. It allows me to catch up without being tied to the blog all weekend. The wreath looks like a nice pop of color!
I left a comment but I think it got eaten lol. Moms think of the best gifts this gave me a great idea for my sons birthday and all his cards that he gets
You’ve received some fabulous wedding gifts! I’ll be honest, I’m feeling envious over your food processor. I hope to add one to my kitchen by the end of the year.

Vitamix!! I need one soo bad. We have this one blender that takes forever to mix our morning smoothies that I make everyday. I heard it’s also good for blending up greens (kale/spinach etc??)
Omg you got a Kitchen Aid mixer from your wedding presents too. We received tons of cash from ours (and we asked for no gifts or no cash etc), because we were moving countries lol. Now I kinda wish I had a registery.
Holy vitamix! So jealous! Our weekend consisted of a sick kid and er visits so yeah… your weekend wins…

Hello fun wedding gifts! I know what you mean about mondays. Especially when you have to work all week! Why is the work week 5 days and the weekend only 2… that doesn’t sound right…
So jealous about that Vitamix lol! But I can relate to the not so relaxing weekends. Even though I’m not planning a wedding, since I started working Full time, all my errands are done on the weekends.
First of all, Downton makes everything better. I’m convinced. Secondly, I love Breadwinners more than anything and I hate that there isn’t one in Arkansas. :/

Sounds like a great weekend except the migraine – I get them too and they suck!
The gift from your mom is great! It would make a great gift to do something like that for new parents too and include birth announcements and such.
