Winter Beauty Lip Must Haves

Do you feel that chill in the air? Finally, Texas got some cold weather, and so my tried and true winter beauty lip must haves are all out and on rotation. I figured a lot of you may have the same chapped lip issue I have year after year, so I wanted to share these with you!

Winter Beauty Lip Must Haves

Moisturize:

There are a few lip products I use to really moisturize and take good care of my lips. I use them interchangeably and keep a few in my purse, my car, by my bed, and in my bathroom. On the higher price scale is the bite agave lip mask this is a product I have repurchased a few times and it works WONDERS. Also on the higher end I have the Caudalie lip conditioner. This is the first year I have used this and I have been LOVING it. I have loved bliss products for a long time and I was so excited to be able to try the lip treatment. It’s a great product to have in the winter months. Really moisturizing. I have probably talked about my love of softlips products no less than a dozen times on the blog. The vanilla will always be my favorite, but they have so many amazing flavors. Plus you can’t beat the price! I am a sucker for holiday marketing and the chapstick candy cane flavor just gets me. It is super moisturizing at a great price. Plus it’s so festive!

Color:

During the winter months I tend to love a dark bold lip. In the summer I stick to lighter shades, but in winter I am all about being bold. Plus it looks great with super pale skin! One of my favorites is the Tom Ford Ultra Rich Lip Color in Aphrodite. I was sent a collection of Tom Ford products and this was one of them. It is soooo pretty. It’s a bit pricey but I think it’s worth it. For any time I use a lipstick I actually prime it with softlips or Caudalie first to make sure my lips don’t get too dry. Smashbox in Primrose is a little more price friendly and I do not personally think it dries my lips out much. It’s such a pretty fall/winter color. As far as glosses go, I really love the Chanel gloss in Wild Rose as well as ANY Revlon lip gloss. I have like 10, it’s a problem.  I recently tried some of the Kat Von D liquid lipstick and I really love it. It stays on for a LONG time so it’s great for a wedding or event where you may not be able to reapply. I really love the color, Mother.

Tell me what some of your winter beauty lip must haves are! As if I need anymore 🙂

Love darker colors for the winter! It’s chilly here in FL too, so thankfully I can break out all my winter stuff and feel excited about it. My skin definitely craves moisture when it gets cold, so I’m constantly moisturizing my lips and hands. Can’t live without Chapstick!

Love this! I’m going to the Mac Cosmetics sale in a couple weeks and they sell most of these brands. I can’t wait to pick some up! Especially the bite agave lip mask. I’ve never heard of it but you definitely sold me! Sounds like what my lips have been missing.

  9. I may need to try the chapstick in peppermint. I just bought some in a different brand last night, but the taste that comes off of it is so gross!

We always have Kiehl’s lip balm. Winters here are brutal and we found that’s the only thing that helps us avoid chapped lips. I go for bold colours too – I personally like MJ lipsticks. It stays on forever.

Sometimes it is so hard to figure out which ones are good, and which ones are just hype. It is the season for additional lip moisturizer. I’ll consider yours.

Thank you for sharing the list! I can’t survive >.< in the winter without lip balm 😀 and recently, I use Astrid lip balm from Czech. It's cheap and suitable for me. But the smell is not good and will be melted in hot weather :/ Gonna find some of the lips balm you shared. Thank you~
