I am just a few days away from starting my third trimester. THAT IS INSANE! I actually start on Thursday, when I hit 28 weeks. YAY for being pregnant on Thanksgiving. Well since I have made it through two trimesters I have quite a few favorite things. I shared my first set of pregnancy favorites in another post and this is dedicated to my second trimester pregnancy favorites.
First, I have to sing praises for this wedge. I have had a really hard time sleeping throughout my entire pregnancy. If I wasn’t up every hour to pee I just couldn’t get comfortable. I am a back sleeper so it’s been rough. Several people told me to try this wedge and you guys its been a lifesaver. What’s also great is that it’s so small and light I’ve been able to travel with it. It came to California, New York, and Fort Worth. It goes everywhere with me when I am not sleeping in my own bed.
I have read about 10 books prepping for baby boy. It’s going to be it’s own post haha. Baby Wise seemed a bit overwhelming, but I found the information super helpful. I read parts of Baby Led Weaning because that’s the food approach we plan to take. I was a super picky eater my entire life so I am hoping our baby will not be!
My sweets cravings have been kind of insane. When I was in New York I had a few PR meetings, and one of them was with the firm that represents Sugarfina! Their chocolates are now my favorite. It doesn’t hurt that they are pretty as well as yummy.
As far as workouts, I have been doing more of the same but a lot of things with resistance bands. Not only are they great with building up muscle but they also help with stretches.
My uniform has been pretty simple. Align leggings from Lululemon, Target maternity t-shirts, Barefoot Dreams cardigans, and either Nikes or these Koolaburra Uggs. Shoes that are easy to get on and off are a lifesaver. I am also loving soft bralettes. These from Nordstrom are my favorite and they are particularly friendly to my ever growing chest!
These are the second trimester pregnancy favorites I have been obsessing over. They are all things I use daily or almost daily.
Do you have any recent favorites to share?
I never tried the wedge, but probably should have! Never fails, I roll to my back every night even with my Snoogle. At this point, I only have a little bit more to go, so I’m super thankful about that! Yay for entering your third trimester this week! It goes super quick after that!
I too have been craving chocolate during my pregnancy! I have to make sure I avoid the candy aisle at the store otherwise I will buy some. haha I recently bought a pair of nice black leggings from Target and they have been my go to clothing item. They are so comfy! The one thing I did not like was how they kept slipping down. So I added some elastic above and below the belly and now they are perfect! Hope you getting rest!

I’m 21 weeks but still able to wear most of my normal clothes, so yay for that! This is a great list of resources! We’ve been reading The Attachment Parenting Book and it’s been really good! 🙂
I love Sugarfina! Their Bubbly Bears are my favorite. Yay for third trimester! Time sure does fly by!
I like the maternity t-shirt, it doesn’t look like a maternity shirt! Maternity clothes are so expensive that I’ve resorted to wearing my husband’s big t-shirts sometimes, and they’re definitely NOT flattering. I guess I’m going to have to check out Target. 🙂

I wish the clothes 10 plus years ago were as cute as they are now. This is a useful list for those pregos.
I will have to bookmark that wedge for the next pregnancy! I had to carefully position 5 or 6 pillows to get comfortable, only to have to get up and pee after 15 minutes. Baby led weaning has been such a great part of our parenting and my now 2-year-old is the unpickiest toddler I’ve met. Good luck!
I liked the Baby Wise books, leggings and uggs for both pregnancies! Those Uggs are so cute!! A word of advice, start getting maternity tops that are also nursing tops. You can thank me later, lol!!
I am such a baby wise fan!! Read it 2 times before I had my babies! Love all the items on the list too!
Love that bra! Target sells similar fabric nursing ones for when your babe arrives! They’re SO comfy and stretchy! Happy Thanksgiving- EAT ALL THE FOOD. BABY SAYS SO!
Thanks for the tips! I’ll keep the wedge in mind. I really just want something for my hayfever (my Dr said I can’t use any of the natural stuff I would usually take) – it’s driving me nuts and making it hard to sleep!
Thanks for sharing. We are trying to get pregnant after having a tubal reversal.
I love resistance bands! It’s a great workout that you control. And you don’t have to commit to one set of weights (which are already expensive enough) but rather you can have a variety of levels. Great tip!
Those boots are so cute! I’ve been wanting a resistance band so i’ll have to check yours out.
These are awesome tips! I have a fried who’s prrgnant I think she would love all of these.
These are great tips for new mamas! I used a lot of the same with both of my pregnancies!
These all look like great products! I’ll have to remember to buy a sleeping wedge if I ever have kids!
We are due almost the same time! I’m about a week behind. I am seriously going to order that wedge STAT. I love that it can travel with us, as we are going to Chicago and Nashville both this month. I also read BabyWise!
So many great items! I imagine myself living in leggings and comfy sweaters throughout my entire pregnancy haha it’s just so much more comfortable! AND it’s not hard to dress up when needed.
Those Uggs look so comfortable and cozy! Perfect for winter weather!

I’m not pregnant but I still love looking at people’s favorites. Those UGGS are too cute.
Comfy clothes are a staple during pregnancy! I’m also a big fan of Babywise. It was overwhelming for me too, but you’ll get the hang of what works for you. 🙂
The wedge was a life saver when I was pregnant. Congrats by the way!
I am a huge proponent of Baby Wise. I didn’t apply it tee for tee but the principles were definitely applied in general and worked wonders!
I am also a back sleeper and it was rough learning to sleep on my side! I hope you continue to feel well into your third trimester. I really noticed a huge shift in my endurance around 30 weeks. It’s crazy how our bodies begin to slow down and prepare for labor.
Oh boy this does not bring back any memories….LOL…I was pregnant a long time ago
I’m not even pregnant & I’m a huge fan of the Barefoot Dreams cardigan! It’s so warm & cozy, I wear mine daily 🙂

I’m not pregnant, but that cardigan and those leggings seem like something I’d wear on the regular! 🙂 Your pregnancy feels like it’s going by so quickly! (Probably not to you, but I guess as a blog reader it just seems like it’s whizzing by!)
Pregnancy is all about seeking comfort and picking things that allow us to get up and go. You’ve made many good choices here. Happy Holidays! 🙂
