One of my great loves is exercise. I love it for not only the physical fitness aspect but the mental aspect. Nothing clears my head and gives me a mood lifter more than a great workout. Some people hate exercise and I get that but I have never been one of those people. I was always active as a kid and as a teenager being involved in cheerleading and school sports. When I went off to college I played inter-murals and I also started running regularly and working out in the campus gym.

Post college I took up things such as Yoga, Pilates, Spin and Barre. Barre of course is my favorite. I love the workout it gives me and its always challenging!

Working from home I always spend time in workout clothes as well so of course I love me some workout clothes haha.

But seriously I love to exercise. I do it roughly 6-7 times a week and I never regret a workout. However I always regret not going!

Workin on my fitness is a big priority and you know what fergie says ..goes

Are you a workout person?

  1. I wish I were! I wish I was one of those people who loved exercise, but I hate it. I’ve been trying to get better!

I love doing pilates. It’s the only exercise routine that I can actually get myself to stick to. I’ve tried so many other types of workouts, but none stick except pilates!

  3. What is Barre like? There is a studio opening up in my area and I think I am going to try it. I just broke my foot, so I have about 4-6 weeks where I can’t put weight on it, but I thought Barre would be a good thing to try once I can get back in action.

I am a work out freak!! I just took nearly a week off and hit the gym for my first work out and I can’t even tell you how great it was. You are right about never regretting a workout, but regretting a missed one. I haven’t tried barre, what do you do in there? If I get to look like a ballerina I’m game!

  7. I wouldn’t call it a passion, but in trying to create a better lifestyle (for me and Baby K), exercise and an improved diet are priorities of mine. Fortunately, I’ve been able to lose 15lbs since June (when most women at 28 weeks have gained 15-30lbs) with regular visits to the gym. It’s becoming easier to go and, just like you, I regret NOT going but it’s usually because I’m uber-exhausted. This thing called pregnancy really wears a girl out! Of course, my introduction to PURE BARRE was super-duper fun and intriguing. My butt’s never been more sore thanks to those tiny little isometric movements ….. gahhh!!!!!!!

  8. I love to work out, I am currently training for a 10K and also a 10 Miler. I do Focus T25 also for strength training. I haven’t found a gym yet that is affordable AND that gives me ample classes to choose from.
