Do you guys love reading these posts? I mean I do. Whenever I see a blogger post something like this it is my favorite thing to read. I love reading the more personal side of bloggers. It’s a nice break from when we post sponsored posts haha!
Here are 10 Things You May Not Know About Me:
1. In high school I was president of the key club. This was a community service organization. Before my freshmen year there weren’t girls in the key club. By my senior year only girls were in office. WIN.
2. When the movie serendipity came out I skipped school to go see it. I had been waiting months to see it and somehow could not wait until that night to go. Fact: I went that night too.
3. I am friends with only a handful of people from childhood and high school. I only invited 3 of them to my wedding.
4. I have more coffee mugs and tumblers than will fit in our allotted spaces for them. So now if I want to get a new one I have to get rid of an old one.
5. I eat the same thing almost everyday for breakfast and lunch. I never get sick of them!
6. Andrew and I have very different vacation ideas. I prefer city exploring and he prefers beach relaxing. We try really hard to go to places that offer both. Our favorite is San Diego.
7. By the time I was 15 I had been out of the country twice. I have not left the country since. But I have a list…
8. I was an avid blog reader long before I had a blog. One of the bloggers who’s blog I read actually encouraged me to start one. So one random weekend morning I did. However before that I had a Xanga(throwback), a Live-journal and a myspace where I blogged ALL THE TIME.
9. Cleaning, and organizing relax me more than most other things.
10. My perfect day consists of waking up before 7 AM. Having breakfast and coffee. Going to the gym and getting in a 90 minute workout. Grabbing a Starbucks and running errands for A and I. Then coming home and prepping dinner. Spending the rest of my day blogging. If I could read for 3-4 hours in there to that would be amazing!
I hope you enjoyed reading 10 things you may not know about me. I would love to know 10 things or even 3 things about you! Leave in the comments!

Fun post Neely! My high school had Keyettes for the girls. It was more like a sorority. Haha! Memories… Now I want to know what you eat for breakfast and lunch every day that’s so good!! Stacie xo
What a fun post! I love getting to know other bloggers!
Three facts about me:
1. I was on one of the first commercial planes to fly after 9/11 (Detroit to Hawaii for my honeymoon)
2. My husband was deployed for 8 years (2006-14), and I was home with our three kids.
3. I sell wine, and I’m actually allergic to it at the same time.
This is a cute post! What is it that you eat everyday for lunch and breakfast (that you don’t get sick of)?
trish – tales from trish
love these posts!!!
San Diego is one of my favorite places too…my husband grew up there, and we got engaged on the beach at La Jolla.
But cleaning and organizing…man, I wish it relaxed me. Want to come over to my house and “relax” (grin).
Just kidding about the second…
Ha! I started on Xanga too! So many years ago!
I love reading posts like this from bloggers. I love city vacations more than beaches. I haven’t been to San Diego but I hear amazing things for it. What do you eat the same everyday?
1. I will likely die as a book hoarder. This means husband will have to die before me because he makes me trim down my bookshelf regularly.
2. I love to scrapbook. I also love to make hand made cards because I am a huge fan of fun mail.
3. A someday-when-I-am-not-surrounded-by-kids dream is to go on a long distance bike ride. Even though I have zero experience, it would be the best time.
So glad I was at your wedding! miss you friend.
These posts are my fave! <3

What a fun post! It’s so fun to “get to know you!” I’d love to know what it is you eat for breakfast every day and don’t get tired of???
Oh my gosh Xanga! I remember having one of those. I’d write about nothing! It was my own personal online diary where I’d meet a few people but not that many. Thanks for sharing some tidbits about you.
Love the post and the comments with facts too. I also want to know what you eat everyday. Ever since I started eating healthy, I eat the same meals/snacks all the time. One other fun fact about me, I worked at Old Tucson Studios in college, and me and my son saw an old Reading Rainbow episode about it today. Very random.
Okay, so this is the first time I have left a comment on someone’s blog who is not an immediate family member, but why not try something new today?
1. I am a relatively new blog reader. I am not a blog writer (yet).
2. Yours was the first blog I ever read when, about six months ago, I was doing a random Google search on how to wear tights with boots. I thought your blog name was so cute, and since then I’ve been hooked on blog reading!
3. I work from home and really miss the interaction with my co-workers. In a sense, reading blogs has filled this void for me. Recipe ideas, fashion tips, book recommendations, and beauty tricks are just a few of the things I love about reading blogs!
This was a great “get to know you” post. I never heard of xanga. So cool that someone you admired “blogging wise” suggested for you to blog.
90 minute workout? BOy, you’re ages ahead of me! Loved getting to know you! I wasn’t part of any clubs in high school (then again, I don’t even know that we had any – I grew up attending a private one in Brazil). But I will say I face the same dilemma with my husband. I like to see it all, explore, look at things, constantly. He prefers to just lay low and take it easy. It’s so hard finding a balance! Maybe we ought to try San Diego!
I am the same too; cleaning relaxes me…. and you, naughty girl, you skipped class to watch Serendipity? I cannot blame you, I love that movie too
I love this post. What do you eat the same of every day and where to get that journal?
About me:
I graduated from high school a year early .
I rode horses from age 4 to age 18.
I am very highly organized at all time and very clean.
I grew up in Malibu with stars as neighbors.
I refuse to travel outside of the US.
I love blogs but quit following/reading most except my favorite top 3.
I rescue cats and find them homes.
I am a speed reader and can read a book in under 2 hours.
I have lived all my life by the Pacific ocean and cannot stand being away from my ocean. My favorite travel is the CA coastal area. I do not go to inland areas.
I spend very little time on social media.
You kind of have to tell us what it is you’re eating every day for breakfast and lunch. I mean, it’s cruel to leave us all wondering like this. Really. We. Need. To. Know.
🙂
My father in law eats the same breakfast and same lunch nearly everyday and has since before I first met him over ten years ago! What do you eat? I can’t imagine the same things everyday 🙂
I find it interesting to read posts like this, almost just as interesting as I used to find reading/completing those questionnaire type things on Xanga(yes, I had one too. My best friend got a small group of us into it after we all graduated HS & went off to college). Up until recently a military wife acquaintance had one too, then they made it all paid for hosting & she went else where more private- I apparently wasn’t “worthy” enough to get her private setting info to get to read it, she’s a bit squirrelly & oddly private/paranoid on the internet- but oh well, not like we were super close any way…
I love this!!! I too love coffee mugs, and I am also running out of space to house mine. I firmly believe that the more coffee mugs you have, the less often you have to wash dishes. I am hoping to eventually have a cabinet to store all my mugs…maybe even display them!! lol Great post!
What a fun post!! I loved the movie Serendipity!
