25 Things You Can Accomplish In 10 Minutes

So there are several points during the day where I feel like I need a break. Either I have been at my computer for hours and I need to do something else for a few minutes, or early in the morning or in the evenings I feel like I should accomplish a few easy tasks. I put together a list of 25 things you can accomplish in 10 minutes… or even less!

25-Things-Accomplish-10min-or-less3

  1. Put away laundry
  2. Wipe down kitchen counters
  3. Back up your laptop
  4. Clean up your desktop on your computer
  5. Clean out DVR of unnecessary stuff
  6. Clean out your purse/backpack/workbag
  7. Take out the trash
  8. Vacuum one or two rooms
  9. Watch an inspirational video
  10. Call your grandparents
  11. Write a sweet letter to a friend and brighten their day
  12. Read and comment on two blog posts
  13. Make a healthy snack
  14. On that note, make a healthy smoothie
  15. Go on a 10 minute walk around the block
  16. Empty the dishwasher
  17. Write your significant other a note and hide it somewhere they will find it
  18. Respond to emails you’ve been putting off
  19. Read for 10 minutes for fun
  20. Update music on your phone/iPod
  21. Clean makeup brushes
  22. Clean up your closet of stuff that should be put away
  23. Reply to blog comments
  24. Reply to social media comments
  25. Call your parents and tell them you love them

Think how good you would feel if you did 3-4 of these things a day. That’s a lot of things you are getting done while you’re putting off the things you need a break from.

What are a few things you would add to this list?

This goes to show that strong communication, a tidy house, and a generally organized life doesn’t have to be complicated. Thanks for the list!

  3. Love this list, especially #25 🙂

Don’t forget to add, TAKE A SHOWER (especially on the less than 10 min side when you have a little one!).

This would make a great printable by my computer so instead of sitting down and wasting 10 minutes on my computer, I get something done. Thanks

  7. I can do a LOT in 10 minutes. I basically do all of my cleaning in 10 minute blocks. It helps me feel like I’m on top of things, and I feel so accomplished being able to say what I’ve done over the course of the day!

  8. Love this! You can also go on Hulu and watch a few singers from The Voice. Not the whole show but just enough to see the people you really like.

Oh, I loved these! My favorite was to leave a secret note for my husband to find somewhere. I actually do that sometimes, but need to do it much more often. 🙂 I think for my personal list, I’d add Doodle Something, Letter Something, and Paint Something.

  10. I have 2 little kids (3 and 6 months) and I swear I live my life 10 minutes at a time! I always try to prioritize with eating, cleaning, then putting things away. People totally understand clutter when you have little kids!! LOL!

    These are all great!
I need to remember this when I am not wanting to put away or fold laundry and other house chores.

This is a great list! I try to do these kinds of things while I’m waiting for things to load on my computer. It’s really slow but the good part is I can get a quick one or two things done while I wait!

I love this list! Being productive while procrastinating! Reading for ten minutes sounds fun, but I’d be really sad when the ten minutes was over! I’m glad I found this through the Happy Days linkups!

This is a very interesting idea for a post! Being productive always makes me feel good, and by doing these items between tasks, it can make me feel more productive since i’ve completed more things. Great idea!
